Carded at BevMo! Ha!
Ok, so maybe they card everyone who looks under 40, but, at almost 45, I'll happily take "looks under 40." It's the closest I'm going to come to a xmas gift this year anyway, so I'll take it!

Wow. I totally spazzed last night at you. Sorry.
I seriously was mad though. WTF.
And today I have a headache.

Why was this meeting at work scheduled for 1, when I normally take lunch? I did have a snack at 11, but I know I'll be hungry by the time the meeting is over. Bleah.

Dialing Ninja now....
Hello operator, give me number 9...
(That just popped in my head, and I have no idea how the rest of it goes)

God.
Why does this country ground to a halt over 2 inches of snow!?! Buses stop running, trains are piled up...
It took 4 days for Heathrow to clear two runways from 10cm of snow!
Unbelievable.

And I bet their excuse for not investing in plows, blowers and other snow moving stuff is "It's freak weather".
It's so stupid. We need to get more like Sweden and actually spend money wisely on winter weather gear.

Your country grounds airplanes after two inches of snow? Wow.
Still, I like English weather, generally. Particularly when it's hot and the headlines read, "Whew! What a scorcher!"

It's embarrassing, it really is.
And the dumbest thing is people keep turning up to the airports knowing the planes aren't flying and complaining about it. Call the airline, call the airport, check before you leave for the airport. This has been going on for weeks and it's been expected. Seriously people, show some common sense!

You are so sweet. Move to Colorado, then we could be neighbors. (You just need to not live in Denver proper or Aurora - I think those are the only two cities with breed specific legislation)

The nursing home called my mother to say my great-aunt has maybe a couple of days left. ... Mom's a wreck, my brother doesn't seem to care, and I'm mostly just numb and worried about my mother and ready to defend her against the crazy family once it's time to read the will.
It's time, I know, but it still sucks. Sigh. Let the drama begin.

Okay, so I didn't make it cold turkey. We'll try tapering.
That was scary.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

{{Befrizzled}}
I'm sorry you have to go through all of this at the holidays.
Try to take it easy and not let it get to you too much.
