I don't think I've ever asked for prayers before but.........my sister is in such a bad spot in her life right now. My family (immediate family) is in turmoil.......I got problems of my own, much of which I have detailed here...........but today I realized just how worse off she is than I am

Today marked the first day I officially stepped in--against all my former opinions---and if there is any single good thing about this....just knowing I am in her corner now seems to be helping her some. She needs prayer right about now because she's got nothing else....thanks

Who had the gas?
Is quite amused by the ratings war between Downton Abbey and Upstairs Downstairs

Im afraid DA was actually far superior to UD, though I enjoyed both.

I also thinks it serves Jean Marsh right if UD doesn't do as well. Her comments were childish and *****y.
Peppermint essential oil is a wonderful permanent marker remover. Gets it straight off, no joking around.

Thank all that is good that you asked me that this morning. I have been thinking about it for a while now, but since my mentioning it would be signing you up for something you might not want to do, I didn't mention it.

And I won't overtake you. I promise. I'll just sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone.

I have a physio appointment tomorrow after work. I had a long bath last night too and that helped a bit. I'd try ice but it's too cold right now.

Upstairs Downstairs was good, but not as good as Downtown Abbey and that's being repeated soon!

Oh, my.

This is the first time I'm aware of agreeing with a conservative talk show host.

ETA: Ninja, is it Tucker Carlson's comment you are agreeing with...the statement where Carlson said Vick should have been executed for his crime?

I ordered something and selected a shipping option that would have the package at my place by next Tuesday at the earliest. Instead, it got there overnight -- today, which would've been fine, except I'm out of town and won't be back until Friday afternoon or night.

UPS left the package outside, on the concrete slab in front of my door. You know, exposed to the wind and snow. I've seen packages blown all over the place near my apartment -- SO has fetched them for other people and put them back by the right door -- and if mine ends up in the canal behind my apartment, I'm going to be PISSED. It weighs a pound, so there's really no way it's going to stay put till Friday night.

I called UPS to ask why they wouldn't leave something in the office instead of outside in the elements, and they said if there's no signature requirement, it's left at the door. Now here's the thing: Even if a package requires a signature, and I've gotten some that did, the driver never rings the bell, just leaves it. In the rain. UPS said that if the package blows away and I never see it again, it's not their responsibility.

I left a message on the office's answering machine. Maybe someone will have time to go track it down for me tomorrow.
Under construction.
My take on Toddlers and Tiaras: those kids are crazy!! Their moms are crazy!! Danielle is either totally phony and mugging for the camera or she's the most arrogant kid I've ever seen. She's not that cute or talented and she needs new eyebrows. She probably has no friends and she'll have some sort of breakdown by the time she's 15.

Four year old Makenzie cracked me up. I'd probably go nuts if I were her mother. But for some reason I think she'll grow out of her personality.

Mom with the seven kids and the rich husband, you're pathetic. Spending $250,000 on your twin 1 yo daughters is obscene. They can't walk, talk or do much of anything but cry. How they won anything, including the grand prize, is beyond me.

Lastly, this is the second ep I've seen. In both eps, their coverage of any kid with brown skin lasted maybe a nanosecond.
No MAS.

I am the new Black.

Now Im just angry.

Why ask me how Im feeling if all you are going to do is get angry at me and yell when I tell the truth and say Im not feeling better.

'For heaven's sake shake it off!' isn't f*cking helpful.

Yes Im aware I have had this cold/flu thing for 6 days now IM THE ONE WHO IS EXPERIENCING THE SYMPTOMS! But Im sorry if my coughing annoys you, or if Im too tired to chat or do anything. Believe me, its sucks for me more.

Just leave me alone.
