No, I really don't have any sympathy for you about getting fired. You called off "sick" during the Super Bowl, and then you were stupid enough to post your party pics on Facebook. So, yeah, of course you got fired. You called off too often anyway, but that was just stupid.

I chopped 5-ish inches off my hair last night and I looooove it! (I'm also wearing it straight. Such a rebel.)

I seriously don't understand how you fudged up my lunch order. I asked for the salad of the day and I don't understand why you just handed me this mess.

Why are you so lazy, unmotivated, and entitled? The apple may not fall far from the tree, but clearly they do roll away from them.

Thank you for behaving for the last couple of days.
Why didn't you just tell me that you wanted some KKCC and that would make everything all better. Good thing I am somewhat of a mind reader and had already ordered some
Communication is the key! Please next time just tell me what you want instead of me always trying to figure you out.
Jeesh! Hair can't live with it can't live w/o it. smh

I'm not apologizing for the tilapia leftovers I brought for lunch today. I didn't feel like going all the way to the downstairs cafeteria to heat it up so I heated it up in the department's microwave. Yet you all want to ***** and moan about the smell. I shouldn't be made to feel ashamed about my food. If I can tolerate the smell of your food everyday, you sure as hell can tolerate mine.

I'm supposed to be out doing things, but the thought of stepping out into the freezing cold is not conducive to productivity.

How nice that Ms. Religious just undercut me on a purchase. Is that what Jesus would have done?

my head is ringing. it makes me feel woozy. I don'te even really know how to describe it. it's not lightheaded or dizzy, I don't feel like I'm going to pass out or fall down. but I certainly dont' feel normal. It's kinda hard to focus. I guess woozy works. I just want a nap. but I stayed home yesterday because of the snow, even though the office wasn't closed.

I just threw up and it looked like the dinner I was about to eat. Dinner went in the bin.

I hate it when people refer to 97 per cent of the country as "flyover states."
And I really hate it when the person who says this is originally from one of the alleged "flyover" states.

Interesting. I've never heard this before. I'm slightly embarrassed to say that I've never spent any time at all in a state that did not have ocean coast except for the Chicago airport during a flight layover. Sorry, Ninj.

And you don't have to! I'm not insisting everyone has to visit the midwest or the southeast or even the west, I'm just saying I think it's condescending to refer to us as merely meriting "flyover" as a description.
The Sklar brothers, whom I like, do it. And they're from Missouri. Sheesh.

I've been wanting to visit Chicago. I've heard the restaurants there are amazing/difficult to get into.
PS - Is that a baby penguin in your avatar?

It is a baby penguin, and the stuffed animal against which she/he's reclining is actually a heater.
I miss the ethnic food in Chicago, more than the upscale restaurants. Giving up the joy of living within three blocks of Indian, Thai, Ethiopian, Chinese, Japanese, and French food has been tough. And because it's a city, you walk it all off in no time.
Whine!
Oh, well. I like it here better.
