Wow, I've been missing a whole lot of drama on this thread. Yikes! I agree with SuZen, say what's on your mind, but don't resort to insults and name-calling. There are plenty of message boards that allow that kind of thing, but this isn't one of them.
Also, the ignore feature is very handy, so use it if you feel you must.

So one little glitch with my new laptop ended up sending it to our computer guy, who I think knows absolutely nothing about computers. I get it back and its sluggish booting up and loading and my mouse features are all screwed up and the program isn't responding correctly. I want to punch him.

Ninja, I did notice your cute little green hat. I thought it was cute! I'm sorry I didn't take the time to comment, but I did giggle

Oh, that's okay, TRBL. I was being sulky and facetious, anyway.

Well, springy and Calvin, you may look forward to future adornments as the holidays suggest.
(Seriously --- I spent a ridiculous amount of time dressing him up and giggling yesterday. And it all started with your picnik suggestion, so, thank you!)

You're welcome!
Dang, I should have put a hat on Calvin! Great idea, I'll have to keep it in mind for future holidays. Bunny ears....

Annoying? Not a chance. I find your story of a far away wife and child fascinating. I do ache for you though. I can't imagine how hard it is being away from them.

Um...No. No. No. No. NO. NO.
We agreed on a "daily" rate 2 years ago. I do not charge you extra when you leave the kid with me for 8 or 10 hours or even 12 hours, so you do NOT get to dock me for days you work only 2 hours. Nope. Nope. Nope. Find someone else to play that game.

Yesterday on my drive home, I saw a truck with the business name: Taken for Granite. It was a stone counter top company.
I love that name! Hilarious.

CUUUTE! I met with a woman who runs a local rescue group yesterday to try and work out the best way to weave my company into her efforts. I am super excited! I was thinking of you while I was talking to her.

When I was going through my divorce the I got a text saying "I'm sorry I took you for granite" Oy.
Now it's a running joke.... "don't take me for granite...I'm not taking you for travertine...don't take this for limestone" You get the point.

I'm in love!
Since I will eventually be dogless (I can't convince her to leave the dogs with me), its a shame I'm all the way across the country, because I would love one of your gorgous rescues.
Look at those love faces!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*faints in love*

Just don't take them for granite, Minxy. They'll turn you to stone if you do.

Look stuffed up nose. Please clear up, because I have a concert to go to tonight and I'd rather not be in semi-misery. Thank you.
