I need help settling a debate at work. Do you think pleated or flat front khaki's look better on men?

flat

I get that pleats give more room, but I prefer a more European style cut

Honestly depends on the fit of the pants and the person wearing them. Some look better with pleated pants some look better without.

Literally no one should ever wear pleated pants unless they want to create the illusion of larger hips. Men generally do not want to create that illusion.

Ick, definitely a flat front girl. I had a history teacher in high school who wore pleated and would always put his foot up on a raised platform and the front would just balloon up and look ridiculous.

My coworker prefers to wear pleated. I told him that I can guarantee the most women prefer to see men wear flat front. He disagreed with me. I asked the question here and on FB. All of the women responded with flat on FB. The men were split 80/20 in their preference. 80% being pleated.
Flat.
We just had a clear-out and I finally persuaded my SO to get rid of some pleated pants he had had since, I suspect, the nineties!

I'm quite sure that several men I know (and s few women) don't know there is a difference. They are all just "pants"

Flat, for sure. FYI to the men who think it makes them look like they have a bigger package, it doesn't. Just the opposite.

Pleats are like mom jeans, so no. It's my only hard fashion rule I have for a guy.

Guys on pleats are like girls on high waisted shorts/pants. The opposite sex def does not have the same opinion!

I'm late to the conversation but put me down for flat. Most of my guy friends wear flat front pants and (like me) would not be caught dead in pleated pants. I agree with Josephine. They are the 'Mom Jeans' of mens dress pants.

That said, I know many men who wear pleated dress pants and shorts. They don't look incredibly horrible on all. I've seen a few guys that pull them off better than flat. It has more to do with their height and build.
When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??
