Cervical erosions

Has anyone ever had one? I recently found out I have one and it's causing me problems. Luckily all my tests have come back normal, so my doctor cauterized it. I have been on the same birth control for six years. This is the first time this has ever happened to me. I never had any issues before. So I thought about it for several days and the only thing that has changed is that I've been taking 3 packs in a row to skip periods. Does anyone think that's what caused the problem? I'm hoping I won't have issues anymore if I take them every month like I used to do :/

Did you tell your dr. that's what you've been doing? I feel like you can't be too careful, especially with lady parts!!!

I'm sorry! That sounds a little scary. I've been told I could do that by a doctor once but was always too scared to try it. Hopefully this is the end of that issue for you.

Thankfully it didn't hurt at all. I was terrified thinking omg it's gonna hurt so much. And then she says "how are you doing so far?" She had already started and I didn't even realize it lol. It felt no different than a regular check up

I'm sorry about your health problem and I'm glad it's not too serious (or at least, it sounds like it's not).

But my god the name of this thread has been freaking me out!
Lol sorry!

I had one 4 years ago. The doctor froze it off which was a very uncomfortable procedure. My test were normal and the doctor thought it may have been from my birth control which I had been taking for five years with out a problem. Overall the doc said it wasn't serious but the side effects were irritating me, I was bleeding with sex. I healed had the follow up visit and everything was going great but then a few months after I started bleeding again. It had come back.

The doc said that it looked like that would be my body's response to taking birth control, I had been on it too long. If I could live with the bleeding than I could stay on it but I couldn't. He said he didn't want to use the cryotherapy on me again so soon as I haven't had children yet and would like to at a later point. I switch to an IUD, another uncomfortable procedure. It took a year for my cervix to heal on its own after I stopped taking bc.

If you're like me it won't matter how you take them as long as your on them this will come back. Based on extensive Google searches at the time I highly expect to have this problem again when I become pregnant. This is normally a problem that women get while pregnant. If you look at forums for expecting mothers you'll be able to read about several different experiences and their outcomes. Good luck, I hope yours doesn't come back!!
Well there goes my hope O_O
