Will start this Thurs, Aug 6...if anyone s still watching. I didn't watch the last couple seasons bc it was becoming too monotonous but I'm starting to miss it so I will be back. Tracee Ellis Ross will guest judge (not sure how many times) and I tend to like her taste so I will def try to tune in for that.
scrills, Rimi and Fifi.G like this.

Thank you for letting us know. I stopped watching too. The drama seemed to be the main focal point and I'd rather see the clothes. I might try to give it a whirl but I'm sure I will listen to the challenge at the start, watch the sketches and fabric purchases, fast forward to the check in and critique, model fitting, and then fast forward to the show and judging.
When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??

I'm behind a couple of seasons myself. I guess I kind of just forgot about it...but it could be fun to catch up.

I feel the same way; I have no interest in the gossip and drama and backbiting. But I do like it when they flashback to various contestants' childhoods, schooling, early careers, etc. and they discuss their inspirations. That's always nice. And I love it during the finals when Tim Gunn visits the top 4 (used to be 3) at their respective homes and studios and speaks w/ their relatives/partners. It's neat to see how and where they live.

I wish they would do tours of some of the contestants' own personal closets and homes and portfolios, like before the season starts. I bet some of these ppl have some phenomenal wardrobes. There's not much to go on when they are living out of one suitcase and roused out of bed at 6am to start their day.

I reeeeeeally want Netflix to add this series, all seasons.

I completely agreed with the judges choices regarding the challenge winner and who was eliminated this week. What say ye all?
Oh man. Back when I was like 13-15 I used to watch Project Runway and Project Catwalk (UK version) obsessively. Especially the US version. I would still probably love it now. Make it work!
