i voted that it doesnt matter much to me, however, there is a limit as to how long the hair can be for me to stay attracted. my freshman year in college, i dated a guy with hair a couple of inches past his shoulders. beautiful hair. oh i loved it! and now the guy i am dating a guy that has hair that comes up to his shoulders. thats as far as i am willing to go with the length tho...
some guys can pull of the long look, as long as they arent bald at the top and growing their hair to compensate for the missing hair! and i hate the ponytail look. sheesh, i am too critical eh?

It depends on the guy.
And some guys look good with both long or short.
Case in point:

I loooooooove long hair on guys. Love it love it love it. Unfortunatly for me, hubby cut his beautiful long hair, about 2-3 months ago. And currently I still dont like the short cut.

Can I just tell everyone that I sat here looking at the pictures of Viggo for a few minutes before posting?!?!? I looooooove that man, no matter what his hair looks like.
I agree with what so many others have said - depends on the guy and the quality of the hair. I love long and healthy hair on a guy if it suits him. Some can pull it off, some can't.

Ditto! The only look I object to, 100%, is bald. Not a shaved head but bald with the fringe like Jason Alexander. For me that is so unattractive.
Long works on Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, and Viggo Mortensen. Shaved works on Vin Deisel. Short works on Adrien Brody. It totally depends on the guy.
I don't like Viggo with short, short hair. I like him in the various lengths Fiona posted but not the shorter almost military thing he has been sporting lately. Actually, that may be another look, I object too on most men.

It depends but in general, I'm not too fond of really long hair. Any longer than the chin is not really my thing. He'd have to carry it off well.
Patrick Stewart is just HOT... I am having trouble thinking if I would feel the same with hair. The bald works for him so well. I don't mind a confident bald guy, not at all.

It doesn't matter too much to me. A guy can look great whether his hair is short, long, or gone. I loved the grunge look and think Kurt Cobain was one of the most gorgeous men ever, but I actually prefer shorter hair on my boyfriend simply because it is more flattering on his face. For guys like Patrick Stewart and Billy Corgan, bald is beautiful. I'll stop prattling now. Suffice it to say it depends on the guy.

Viggo takes my breath away in every photo. Long hair, short hair or no hair he'd still be sex on legs. (insert drooling smiley here)
Gaaaaaahhhhhh! *faints*

I don't like the top one. I doubt I would like that on any guy. Too Brian Grazer! The bottom one is cool. I've never seen Viggo all gussied up like that before.
That bottom picture brings up a whole other topic. Suit vs. casual. I'm normally anti-suit but that picture of Viggo is changing my mind. It depends on the guy, I guess.

I like the clean-cut, preppy, all-American looks.
And yet, no guy I've ever dated fit that description perfectly. Really, the looks end up not mattering at all....but just purely on looks, I prefer shorter hair to long hair.

Hmmm, I'm not overly fond of really long hair on a guy as not many can carry it off, I tend to prefer men with shorter hair. Having said I only seem like Tom Cruise when he has longer hair...

Oh God... I was going to say, Well, Viggo looks so much better with long hair, when I first saw the topic, and then I scrolled down and saw the photos... now I'm just another one of the Drooling Women...
I do think it depends on the man. But I can't really write much more coherently now because of those Viggo photos.

I'm totally with you, I've always been a big fan of his. He looked sooo good in Mohicans with that hair (and so did his half brother). and he's such a talented actor.
Ikinda like the deep brooding type so Viggo and Daniel really pluck my guitar strings. Thanks for reminding me of him!
