Default Long hair on a guy--yay or nay?

I must admit I think it depends on the guy but for the most part I prefer shorter hair on a guy. Doesn't have to be a buzz cut but no scraggly ponytails.

Would you pass on a guy if he had long hair even if everything else was slamming? Is long hair on a guy a deal breaker?
some examples:

Nick Ashford

no hair...
BTW, This one, one of the sexiest men alive is all mine! :-)

short hair

I've always preferred long hair, just able to fit behind their ears. I've always had a thing for grunge. Not gross grunge.

I couldn't vote.
My answer would be, HELL YES! I love long hair on men. However, it has to be in good condition.

hmmm... you didn't give an option for those who like long hair only!

:P

anyway, i don't choose partners based on hair length.

but, i will say that Brad Pitt was at his sexiest in Legends of the Fall!!!

*swoon*

whoops I meant to add another option to the pool but as I've just learned, you can't edit polls

so I'll add it here,

Option: long hair makes you roll over and stand at attention.

I prefer short hair but I won't pass on a guy just because he had long hair. Actually when I met my boyfriend he had short hair and now it's longish. I would like if he cut it, but he can wear it the way he likes and I'm not gonna break up with him over it.

There are exceptions but it's rare for long hair to look good on a man I think. Pony tails are the worst, just look ridiculous.

In general, I don't prefer long hair on men. I can do the behind the ear length bounce was talking about but definately nothing long enough to pull in a ponytail.

I've seen a few guys that had gorgeous long curly hair, and thought their hair was amazing. I can even see the sex appeal if that's your type, but I prefer short or bald. I love that last pic of Brad Pitt.

I think it depends on the guy. Long hair looks great on some guys and a complete mess on others.

I have no objection to long hair on a guy as long as it's no longer than collarbone length and in good condition. Straggly = urgh!

I agree. It depends on the guy. I don't normally like long hair on a guy, but Viggo Mortensen was yummy with long hair.

couldn't resist

Furio from the sopranos - he wasn't bad, however it looked much better in a ponytail than down like this.

this I can handle and he can stir my soup anyday.[/img]

I guess it depends on the guy. I don't normally like it and think it looks very dated on most men, but occasionally I see someone who can pull it off. I think Nick Chavez looks OK with it.

eventhough it's not really my preference I think Orlando Bloom pulls it off with his natural color and as a blond.

I never got the guys who wear ponytails 24/7. Why have long hair if you always wear it back? Why not cut it short with some style?

Freecurls - I think that guy (last one) is the most beautiful on the face of this earth. Who is that?

Austin,

His name is Mark Collier and he is some sweet eyecandy form my addiction to soap operas. He's on As the World Turns and plays Mike Kasnoff. and he is sooo hot. hejust recently got a buzz cut and he still looks good but I liked him better with the longer hair. HE's got the cutest dimples.

It depends on the guy. Long hair can be really hot on the right guy.
