It's actually sunny and in the 60's here in Atlanta. Much warmer thanksgiving than last year. Good for turkey frying!
More ice expected Sunday 😡

No ice in TX yet, but a very, very cold rain (just above freezing), and 4 days of it! It's miserable. I feel so sorry for the animals who don't have shelter.
I always worry about them

Lots of fog and ice here. This will be my first winter in WA & I was born and raised in SoCal. This weather is quite an adjustment!

From Michael Berg:

Every person has a unique connection to the Creator that can never be extinguished, and every person has a great soul that can manifest important things in our world. To make a person feel less than they are because of something inside themselves, be it faith, race, or sexual orientation, is the greatest sin of all."
Is it still icy? Do they clear roads where you are at? When it gets icy here, we just stay home. One year I had to leave my car on the side of the road. It was in the 70s here yesterday...people had on shorts. I'm enjoying this weather but worried I'm gonna get sick with the back and forth changes. I've had the heat and AC on yesterday at different times.

Side note - I walked into North Face yesterday looking for snow boots wearing flip flops. Then I walked out, was not ready for that yet. And the jacket I really wanted was over $400. Not gonna happen. But I realllly want it .
It was terrible Thurs/Friday. We were supposed to get another yesterday today but it turned out not as bad. OTOH I have forgotten what sunshine looks like.

Josephine, not sure if you've had Northface before, but they are totally worth the money. Mine is atleast 10 years old and still by far the warmest jacket I've ever had. When I lived in northern Alberta, I was walking to work in -30 weather and would be toasty still.
I believe in manicures. I believe in overdressing. I believe in primping at leisure and wearing lipstick. I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles.

If it's not something you need right away, I would hold out till February/March when they start going on clearance.
