I have to admit I have to match! I'm anal about this, I worry about being in another car wreck and want to look cute if I do!

I have one matching set. It's seems pointless for me as everyday wear because I wear bras multiple times before washing but undies only once. My sets would get mismatched very quickly!

The only time eveything matched was when it was all plain white cotton. I don't have the energy to worry about it.

I match my underwear to my outerwear when possible, does that count?

In anticipating a breast reduction, one of the things I looked forward to the most was matching bras and panties. I realized that was not practical, but at least now the colors can match (since industrial size bras don't come cute or in a wide variety of colors).

nope, it's near impossible for me. it's hard enough for me to find a bra that fits me, but to find underwear to match, it's never happened.
i wear the same brand/style # bra everyday and the same brand/style # of underwear everyday. but none of it matches
oops.. just remembered i have one matching set. my bf got it for me a valentines day. the bra doesn't support well enough to wear in public, so i don't ever wear it out. but i do have one set, that he ordered online.

I'm single, so I really really don't care if it matches because no one is gonna see it....but when I get married, my vote might change. However, I don't know if I will find cute bras that support me, so my situation might be like goldylocks.
Finding a bra alone that fits me right and doesn't dig in and supports is hard enough, finding matching panties would exhaust me!

I wore matching underfrillies when I was single. It's something I do for me. Now that I'm married, it's a bonus for my husband.
Actually, it's not. He couldn't care less what kind of underfrillies I have on - he's more interested in getting me OUT of them.

I only wear matched sets on special occasions. I like to wear cotton panties, but cotton bras generally don't offer me enough support or come in the right styles or sizes.
I worry more about the underthings not showing under clothes. So if I wear light pants and a balck shirt, I'll wear a black bra and light panties.

when i was thin and beautiful, one of my favourite things to do was buy lingerie - and i usually bought matching sets. i almost always wear black skirts and pants anyway, so the colour underneath doesn't matter.
i always wear skin tone with white tops, however!
now that i'm fat, there's very little that's pretty in my size. so everything is basic beige....

I match unless I'm working out. Speaking of lingerie, I love the new Pink line by VS.

I try to match color and texture usually, but I'm too poor to be really anal about matching sets. I have a few nice matching sets that I reserve for special occasions though. :P
PH--The word underfrillies totally cracks me up. I like that much better than the word panties.

Me too. Is it short for pantalettes, maybe? Whatever, it's an outdated word. Underfrillies is much more my style.

Special occasions only. My situation is like goldylocks... finding matching sets in my size is rare. I mostly wear sports bras to get enough support, and finding one of those in my size that's something other than white or black is a thrill in itself.

I'll admit to being lazy and cheap. I also have the support problem. Now that I'm fat I'm a 38 D or even a 38 D.5!
Actually, I'm more cheap than lazy. While I can bring myself to spend $30 or even $40 on a pretty bra, I cannot bring myself to spend $16 on the matching undies. TMI alert - what if Aunt Flo visits early and ruins them! I solve this problem by limiting myself to white, nude and black and buying color coordinating panties at Express or even Wal Mart They have new "fancy" nylon Hanes biknis at 2 for $6!!! I'm currently testing them. If they last a reasonable amount of time I'm stocking up.
As for the problem with wearing a bra several; days per week while wearing the undies only once a week (obviously!), the practical - yet expensive solution is to buy one bra and several pairs of matching panties. That way you can wear the fuschia lace set 3 times/week.

Mine don't always match, but they do most of the time. I also wear my bras a couple of times before washing, so I try to buy two or three matching panties. If the panties are 16 bucks, I go elsewhere and buy cheaper panties that match as closely as possible.
