I Think My Mascara Makes My Eyelashes Fall Out

Is there such a thing as a conditioning mascara? Right now I'm using Cover Girl Lash Exact but I've noticed that my eyelashes fall out when I'm drying my face-- not strenuously.

Can someone recommend a good one?

i can't. but i can commiserate. i swear my lashes are getting skimpier and skimpier. i stopped using an eyelash curler for this very reason.

i hear that jan marini has an eyelash oil that makes lashes grow. it's probably expensive. and don't know if this really works.

mascara can't really condition. if you're having problems, i hear good things about Kiss Me mascara - the one that forms little tubes that you gently pull off when you want to remove it.

lashes go through growth patterns just like hair on your head...

This Kiss Me stuff. Would I get that at someplace like Sephora or drug stores?

Thanks.

Thank you! I'll be near a Sephora next week, so I will surely buy myself some.

I have the same issue with lashes falling out when I use mascara so I stopped. Please post a review of the Kiss Me if you try it.

TIA.

I'm 45. My hair isn't as thick as it used to be either...about half of what it was in my youth. That's not a problem though, because I used to have enough hair for 8 people...now I only have enough for 4 people.
I had the same problem until I switched to Avon Mousse Mascara. It's hard to describe, but when it dries it's not crunchy or stiff like some mascaras. My eyelashes still feel soft with it on. From Rou's description, I think it may be similar to what she posted.

Just wanted to thank Sweet Pickles for the Kiss Me mascara recommendation. I used this for the first time yesterday and while it doesn't really make my lashes any thicker, it is a dream to wear as it doesn't bother my contacts and I don't need any harsh cleanser to get it off. Thanks!!!
It makes my lashes come out too. I only use it occassionally for this reason.

I rarely wear mascara because I have very long eyelashes and mascara scratches the inside of my glasses.

However, I have found that when I do wear mascara, my eyelashes fall out.

Ever notice how men often have gorgeous, long thick lashes? They don't wear mascara.

I suppose the solution is to avoid mascara as much as possible, and hopefully your lashes will grow back to their normal thickness.
My eyelashes have been really short lately, even though I stopped using an eyelash curler a couple months ago. I hope it's just a regrowth cycle but I might stop using mascara for a bit to see if it makes a difference. I'm kind of addicted though. I love wearing mascara! My eyelashes are dark and thick but not long and mascara just gives them that extra bit of help.
