I didn't know that... never had dairy queen, but wow. i'm thinking now that would explain why many ice creams in the US do not taste truly creamy, but just (overly) sweet.

sounds nasty. I don't eat any hot dogs after hearing/watching how they're made. It sucks because I won't lie they taste good
