I love him too. He seems like just a genuinely good guy all around. His wife looks like a sweetheart too, and I bet she's glad to finally have him back home. His song was very appropriate for his exit too.

I'm so sad about Phil leaving! I thought his song was ironically appropriate, too. Something about his voice is so good... it's just so rich and the timbre makes me want to keep listening. I don't think he's necessarily "right" for American Idol and I think he should be home with his babies.

I agree with Chris leaving, but I thought Lakisha should've been on her way instead of Phil.

Now I'm all in for Jordin! But I kind of like Blake too... and Melinda. Crap!

So it's just Blake and the girls left eh? Hmmm, this could get interesting.

Am I the only one who has noticed that ends of Jordin's hair are looking straight and damaged from the constant straightening? I bet she will eventually end up straight...

On a different note...I was flipping the channels and came across Celebrity Fit (?) on VH1 and saw Kimberly Locke.

If anyone recalls Kimberly, she had lovely curly hair but then it was straightened for the first time, she received all types of kudos from the judges and we never saw it curly again.

Well, it is now straight and dyed some brownish red color. I don't think I have seen it curly since the last time she was on AI. Very sad.

I thought that about both exits last night. They both seem like genuinely nice people.

One more thing. . . Robin Thick. This is the first I have ever heard of him and, therefore, the first I have heard him sing. I was not impressed plus I found him hard to watch. Am I the only one?

He is so creepy! I've heard that song on the radio a few times and it's weird.

When I first saw his picture on the sides of buses, I thought he was going to be Buble-ish. He's not!

What do you expect from the son of Jason Seaver

He's strange looking with the teeny weeny mustache. But I like the song. It has a smooth sound. Makes me feel like I should be on some tropical island, sipping a frozen drink. :P

Robin Thicke is the hottest thing on Urban Radio right now. He is, however, overrated.

His voice is kinda too high pitched and girly sounding to me like justin timberlakes. I dont get the hype with either of them.

Robin's CD is really good. He's also had a very successful career as an R&B songwriter for other artists like Usher and Faith Evans.

Love him!!

I noticed from the early AI episodes that Jordin's hair was much straighter on the ends and curlier at the roots. I assumed that she was growing out a thermal straightener or relaxer and hadn't done a big chop yet.

Her curls didn't start looking uniform to me until the later shows when they had stylists primping their hair for the stage.

I think that she has great curls and hope that they don't get too processed from the show.

The top of her hair looked very frizzy on performance night.

Definitely wasn't surprised to see Chris go home. I knew the other person going had to come down to Phil, Blake or Lakisha. Since Phil was in the bottom three on so many occasions I wasn't surprised to see him go. There is only one winner and it definitely wasn't going to be him, so they all have to go at some point.

His wife is so cute!!!! Love how she's always smiling...very supportive, too, considering he missed their baby's birth for AI!

Phil said he might not do the tour because he'll be going back to the Navy.

I hope he releases something...country, whatever...I'd buy it!

Phil was just on TV in his sailor suit, holding his little baby.

Melts.
