BeneFit fans

You guys got me hooked on BeneFit a few weeks ago, so I thought I'd share this deal with you! I got an e-mail today from BeneFit with this offer:

Get a FREE high beam with the purchase of any two products from Carmindy's "5-Minute-Face" recipe. Be sure to put high beam in your shopping cart and enter promo code CARMINDY at checkout. Offer expires May 7th, 2007.
The Carmindy 5-minute-face "recipe" is here. It features a lot of the products people mentioned loving earlier - like Boing and Bad Gal Lash. I'm not sure if it's a full-sized or small High Beam that you get free.
I'm just about at the end of my Playstick Foundation. I may have to try Some Kind of Gorgeous and Boing! I've never used High Beam. Thanks for posting the link.

ETA: Looking at the link, I think I am going to exchange it for the Get Even.

ETA Again: I got the Eye Bright and LOVE it!! I also got the Lemon Aid and really like it, not as much as I love the Eye Bright though. And for those of you who are like me and worry about animal testing, Benefit does NOT test on animals.

Ok, now I am really done editing.

Maybe I will just stick with the Playstick Foundation (why mess with what works). I use Get Even (02) and I love it. Last weekend we were running to the store and I just applied Get Even, lip gloss, and mascara and my husband commented on how good my skin looked.

I have Eye Bright but never really use it that much. Do you just apply it to the inner corners of your eyes?
i LOVE my Lemon Aid!!

i wear a LOT of eye makeup and it stays all day when i use this as as base!

Would you believe I had a DREAM about Benefit makeup last night! I was discussing with a friend how I was debating on what I wanted to get between Dandelion, Hoola, and Dallas. My friend was the bronze queen, and so she used Dallas, but I wanted a bit more of a pinkish tanned glow, so I was thinking of going for Hoola - yes this was all in my dream.

And I agree about Lemon Aide. I am totally addicted to this stuff. That and Ooh La La Lift. I have them both in my Realness of Concealness pack, but I would totally buy each of those in large sizes. Lemon Aide is just perfect. I don't even need undereye concealer when I wear it.

You guys are terrible enablers. I was trying to cut-back on my makeup habit, but now I'll have to get a couple things so I can try the High Beam. Hey, I'm saving money...

I now use a foundation brush to blend Playstick and a powder brush to apply Get Even. I'm very happy with the results.

I don't use Benefit mascara. My eyes are pretty sensitive so I just stick with what I've been using forever. I have both Dandelion and Dallas, but prefer Dallas. I'm pretty fair and the Dallas doesn't look dark at all. I apply it with a soft touch and a blush brush to the apples of my cheeks. I want to try Hoola too.

I used to use Lancome products but prefer Benefit much more.
I was thinking of getting the Play Stick too. I tried some last weekend and I really liked it for a little extra coverage.

BTW, the High Beam offer on the website is the full sized ($22 value) not the tiny size.
I think instead of going to Sephora, except to return the some kinda gorgeous, I will hit the Benefit counter at Macy's and have them show me everything.

You are so bad. I posted this to help other people but I wasn't going to give in. And now that I see it's a FULL SIZED High Beam, I probably will. Bad bad bad influences!

Gekko - I got Bo-ing and Oh La La Lift at Macy's about a week ago. The people working there were really helpful and had gorgeous makeup on. I was tempted just to ask the makeup artists if she'd do a makeover with exactly what she had used that morning, but I thought that'd be kind of weird.

High Beam is really easy to use, and it makes a HUGE difference. Dot it on your brow bone, just below your eyebrows, and blend it in so it goes along your eyebrow line - I also dot mine around the outside of my along where the bone makes a C shape, to my cheekbone, and blend it around the shape of my eye, and also on the bridge of my nose. I dot it right on the top of the bridge, and blend it downward - this attracts light to just the top angle of your nose, and makes your nose appear smaller.

If you highlight these 3 places, you'd be amazed at how much it brightens your whole face. I'd look like a complete wreck these days without it. But you really use so little at a time, a whole bottle would last forever.

I did break down and buy the very expensive Guerlain Meteorites because of the reviews here:

and can't see any difference at all.

The Macy's girls are extremely helpful, that's for sure.

The only thing that I tried that I didn't care for was the Benetint. Everyone swears by it and it was voted as best product somewhere/sometime. It was outrageously PINK on my cheeks, and even the makeup girl said, "OMG, you look like Santa Clause." It was that much of a pink/rosy cheek look.

NO THANKS.

I really like the Dandelion blush, Dallas is nice for that darker look, and Georgia kinda brightens my whole face.

The Bad Gal Blue mascara is kinda scary when you look at it in the bottle, but it's really amazing on your eyes.
