He never really gives any reasons why he is hot.

This is why, this is why, this is why I'm hot....

I don't particularly care for it either, but I sometimes catch myself humming it while I'm at work. I don't know why but it has wormed its way into my brain.

I have a funny story about this song.

I have a friend who is from Guatemala. His English is really good, and he likes to learn it from listening to music, but sometimes he doesn't understand the words, so he just makes up what he thinks they are.

He was at work on a construction site, and was singing this around a co-worker, and said, "I'm hot 'cos I'm flat (motioning to his belly) - you ain't 'cos you not ---> (pointing to co-worker's beer gut) ..."

Apparently the guy comes back the next day, all mad and embarrassed because he'd sung it that way to his girlfriend and she'd laughed at him and said, "That's not how it goes, you moron!"

I've never heard this song.

"I'm hot 'cause I'm fly, you ain't 'cause you not."

They play this song and that song of Paula D'anda's(sp?) all the time. I loathe them both.

Don't do clubs and don't listen to rap/hip hop. In my car, I listen to Sirius radio, but I haven't heard any song that sounds remotely like this.

Unfortunatley I've heard this song so much that I know he does give a reason for being hot - he's hot cuz 'he can sell a mill singin nothin on a track' or something to that effect. Some of my friends seem to love it..its drivin me crazy!

GAH, I hate it, too.
It feels like this song plays every 5 minutes on the radio!

He kind of DOES give a reason for why he's hot - he's hot because he's fly, and you aren't because you're not! I guess it's a pretty simple concept, huh? :P

Poor guy! I like his lyrics, they're funny.

Me neither. I gave up on radio YEARS ago. This is why most of my music collection is firmly entrenched in the 80's and 90's. I'll be 32 in June.

I've never heard of it either, but then again, I don't get to listen to the radio much. Usually what we listen to is dictated for me and it's generally Laurie Berkner, Curious George Soundtrack, Backyardigans, or Jimmy Buffett
