Default I Know This Is A Weird Thing To Be Happy About But...

... I just found out that I have an under-active thyroid.

I've been SO tired... even after getting nine hours of sleep. I say I'm going to exercise but I'm always too tired. Today I was walking my dog thinking: Do I have sleep apnea? Are the cats disturbing my sleep and I don't know it?

Last week I had a regular physical and I didn't think to mention any of this to my doctor (duh), but today she called me with the results of my blood test and told me my thyroid tests indicated hypothyroid.

I'm so glad that I know where this is coming from now! I'm going in next week for a few more tests and hopefully we'll get this under control.

My mom has the same problem. I'm sure it's just a relief to know the cause and not feel like it's "all in your head."

I'm glad you have an answer to why you're so tired.

Honestly, my mom was having similar symptoms, kept telling her doctor something was wrong, and it turned out she had diabetes. At that point she could do something to feel better.... a diagnosis really IS a happier thing than simply feeling "off" and not knowing why!

But at least the pews never attend yoga!

That's great that you now know what is going on and can get treatment for it. Feel better soon!
