Default Verizon, Yahoo DSL

I need to get rid of my crappy DSL and get something new and I was thinking about Verizon or Yahoo.

Has anyone here had either for at least five months of reliable service (meaning no outages or constant resets)? Is the connection consistently fast?

I've had Yahoo DSL (now, AT&T Yahoo) for a couple of years and have had no problems at all. I can't remember ever having to reset. I have set up my wireless router to run through my DSL modem and I type wirelessly from my laptop as we speak. I've never used any other DSL, but I can't complain about this service.

I've had Verizon DSL for about 3 years and I LOVE it. It's very fast and I've only had one outage in that entire time.

I have had Verizon DSL for over two years and never had an outage. I'd say they are fast and reliable.

We got Comcast when we moved here in October and haven't had any problems with it. I think we're unique though.

I think DSL reliability varies greatly by where you live. I'd probably ask around locally, if you haven't already done that.

Thanks for the replies. So far I don't know anyone locally with Verizon but I think that's the one I may go with.

I think this is very true, High speed internet has only become available here very recently. I live in a small town/rural area, and we have yet to get any type of reliable internet service period, dial-up DSL or BB.
