Does Your Dog Snore?

Mine is asleep on the back of the couch sawing wood like there's no tomorrow. She's a short-nosed breed, so it's pretty typical, I suppose. It's still funny, though.

No, none of my dogs have ever snored regularly -- only one ever did at all, actually. My old Border collie snored occasionally, very softly, the last year of his life (age 13).

I hear short-muzzled dogs like pugs and bulldogs snore to bring the roof down!

"Honey Badger don't care!"
My Water Dog doesn't snore, but my old Pug sure did. Snort city.
No, but she has nightmares. Sometimes she'll cry softly in her sleep.

Mine does sometimes, but not loudly. It's more of a heavy breathing/puffing sound, doesn't bother me at all. I wish my husband snored that quietly!

One of my cats does. Jinx has chronic upper resperatory problems, she's always sneezing and has a runny nose. And man can she snore!

Sometimes I have to turn up the tv to drown her out. And there have been times that I've had a hard time sleeping cause she was in bed with me and snoring super loud.
My cocker spaniel (thats him in the AV) snores like a trooper! It cracks me up - I work at home and he is in his bed snoring away. He has dreams sometimes and they make him howl - it sounds so sad.

My lab/pit mix snores, so I guess that's the bully breed coming out (I heard they tend to snore). It's not too loud and doesn't really bother me, unless he decides to lay his head right next to mine.

Always!

Most of the time it's not so bad. Seems to be worse when he gets more exercise. When it's bad it sounds like a 300 lb man is in bed with me!

But he is a pug so it comes with the territory.

The male snores, the female doesn't. Typical!

He also barks in his sleep, but if I say his name and tell him he's a good boy he quiets down without waking up.

I always found dog-snore to be very relaxing. It put me to sleep like a sound machine. Not so w/ human-snore.

My little dog has a big snoring problem! I've also been wondering what she's dreaming about when her short legs start moving like she's running while she's sleeping.

My dog snores and barks a little in his sleep. It's kind of a "wah, wah" noise, very soft but definitely audible. He also twitches and passes gas . The stench is so bad that it wakes me up sometimes, but what can I do?
