Who's Your Favorite TV Dad?
I'd have to say mine is Cliff Huxtable. He is so hilarious and he really cares about his wife and kids.

Definitely Cliff.
The Cosby Show and The Wonder Years are the only tv shows I remember sitting down with my family and watching as a family, and I always wanted my dad to be that cool and funny. (Now that I'm older, I realize he is in his own way!)

Voted Phillip Banks.
Dad from Step by Step is a close second.

My favorite TV dad isn't here -- Jim Anderson (Robert Young) from the old "Father Knows Best" show. He was kind of goofy but seemed like a gentle and loving dad. I was kind of scared of Ward Cleaver!
Actually I just want to get closer to Bud . . . .

mine neither, fig jam. Mine is Eddie's father (Bill Bixby) in The Courtship of Eddie's Father, but of those listed, definitely Andy Griffith. Love his downhome common sense and laid back attitude and he didn't pretend to be perfect and he dated women. Just like my dad.

Not to mention Bill Bixby was kind of hot! I'd forgotten about him. (Wait, "hot" and "dad" . . . not the mix we're looking for! Sorry!)

I voted for Cliff. I was going to say Phil from Fresh Prince or Danny from Full House, but Bob Saget hit on my cousin's girlfriend (who is 20 and looks even younger) when he was really smashed and I just can't think of him the same now. Ewww.
I love Mr. Huxtable: I always thought he'd be a cool dad to have in real life.
