I voted "no" because the only place I wear them is at the beach. I wear sundresses and miniskirts with tank tops. I HATE how I look in shorts.

I have no idea. I also won't wear any trousers/pants except for jeans. I just like skirts better, and think I look a lot better in them. I know they fit a heck of a lot better than shorts or pants.

Same here! I have long legs, so most shorts either look ridiculously short (like a 16 year old would wear) or they are too long like a grandmother would wear. I have a couple pair of shorts but I rarely wear them. They are just terribly unflattering on me. Maybe to do yard work, but that’s it. I mostly wear skirts in the summer.

Thank you, dearie! I have the long-legged issue as well.
The only pair of shorts that I wear at the beach were a pair of my dad's old shorts.  I LOVE the heck out of those things. And they were the only pair he owned (apparently the hating shorts thing runs in the family...  ).

I only wear shorts for working out, the beach etc. In summer I would much rather wear a sundress or a skirt than shorts, and I hate skorts too. I just feel too casual, cute-sy and childish in them I think - I am petite and I like to wear heels, and heels with shorts is just not my thing.

I rarely wear shorts, so I voted no. Not so much because I hate the way they look on me, but mostly because I never find any that I like. Like Mazey said, they're either knee-length or so short I think my ass cheeks hang out, and nothing in between looks good.
I looooooooove cute summer skirts and dresses though.

I also have horribly long legs, and they are very boney. If they had some definition to them I would wear shorts. But I just wear them to workout and in the yard. I am a jeans person year round.

I only wear shorts in the gym. I do not walk down the street to the gym w/them on either. I detest the way that I look in them.

There are VERY few people who can wear shorts and look good in them. You have to have super, super skinny legs otherwise you have the whole "shorts getting bunched up between your legs thing" throwing the whole thing off. NOT a good look. Mini skirts are more flattering.

I don't wear shorts, but I'm amazed at how many people are saying they don't either. I thought I was the only one. I used to look good in them when I was younger, but as I've aged my knees don't look so good anymore.

In the summer I wear skirts or sundresses all the time. I find sundresses to be cooler than shorts.
