I keep checking back here to see if anyone will vote for the hideous aliens option. Okay, and to read all the sweet things people say about their moms. It makes me miss my mama, even though I saw her a week ago.

Ok, this is going to sound harsh. But yes, if she stopped looking like a clown. I don't know how many times me, my sis, other family people tell her. Look you have too much makeup on you look like a clown and she is like you don't know what you are talking about. I have to find me a man "para mi futura".

Yeah, you are correct. This is one of her many infamous sayings. She's is very old school and needs a man to take of her.

My mommy is very pretty. She is almost sixty, and I WISH I had skin like hers. Poreless and tight--no wrinkles anywhere. She has gained lots of weight, but that face of hers is still beautiful.

My mom was *gorgeous* when she was younger. I look like my dad's side of the family, though.

I have her wedding photo because she didn't want to keep it. I actually had a friend tell me I look just like her in that photo, and wanted to kiss her for saying it! It's not true at all, but it was nice to hear anyway. Hee. My mom was 5', 95 lbs, and a C cup. Long, dark, thick, shiny and healthy hair, and big brown eyes, with a great smile.

About 50 lbs heavier, 30 years later, and she still gets hit on a LOT. I've been slowly teaching her to dress flatteringly for herself, and have more flattering hair. She looks darned good for 58!

my mum looks the opposite of me..straight light brown/dark blonde hair (i have brown), green eyes (i have brown), olive skin (i'm pale), round face (mine is long).....the list goes on but i thought she was such a beauty when she was my age...the only thing we share is chubby fingers....i've always wished i inherited her skin colour and eyes

Yup I think my mother is pretty. Everyone is amazed when she tells them her age (67) I swear she looks like she's in her 40's People ask to see her license they never believe her. She has flawless and baby soft chocolate, velvet skin. Unfortunately I didn' t inherit my skin or many looks from her. I look like my father.

When she was younger, yes. However, she fell into that typical midwestern-olderwoman syndrome where they let themselves go. It drives me batty.

Strictly on looks, I think my mom is pretty, although the is kinda average. I look a lot like her, and not to sound egotistical or anything, but I'm generally thought of as prettier. I have a bit more exotic coloring and eyes. My mom is really, really friendly and outgoing, which I thinks contributes to her apple-pie prettiness. She's been much heavier my whole life, but I still think she's pretty. She's 47, and if she lost a lot of weight she could get a ton of attention is she wanted it.

Other relatives are a different story. The other women on my mom's side (my grandmother and my grandmother's sisters) are really beautiful. My dad's side is a different story: although the men are attractive, pretty much none of the women are. I'm very happy I look more like my mom's side of the family!

Since I resemble my mother quite a bit, of course I think she was pretty!

I always think Maggie Gyllenhaal looks like my mother when she was young. Well, Maggie has kind of an old-fashioned look, or is it just my eyes?

My mother got quite heavy later in life (hated exercise like poison), but was still attractive and looked much younger than her age. She was always careful about clothes and makeup.

Ah. I miss her.

HA! I almost spit my coffee out at that one.

My mom was pretty in her day. She looks beautiful in her wedding photo and in the pictures from when I was a baby. She was alawys very into hair and make-up, jewelery and all that girly stuff.

She put on a quite a bit of weight after my sister was born and cut her hair short so throughout most of the 70's she wasn't great looking. It was hard enough to look good the 70 with the hideous fashions, but the short hair really didn't help.

She started to look good again when my sister was in high school. She let her hair grow out and lost some weight and for a woman in her mid-late 40's she looked pretty good. Then she got cancer and lost her hair. While it was in the growing out process she kind of looked like a man, basically she and my father had the same hair-do, picture Alex Trebec (both parents are curly). We would joke with her so she had a sense of humor about it. It was just starting to grow out and look kind of nice when she passed away. Her skin always looked pretty good though.

My father is a decent lookin guy, he was definitely cute when he was younger. He's in his 60s now and still looks like Alex Trebec.

She was absolutely beautiful! Pictures of her from when she was younger and in Korea, we could totally see how my dad fell so hard for her. And even as she got older, she still retained her beauty. Her heart was made of gold and was as big as the world. She was beautiful inside and out, a truly wonderful person. I sure do miss that little Korean woman
