Do you think your mom is pretty?
I ask this because of something 2 people said to me:
1) I was looking at a picture of a friend's mom & aunts and uncles (7 in all) and asked which was her mom. She replied "the pretty one," which didn't help me at all, because all the women looked the same degree of pretty, and
2) My SIL was talking about a picture of my MIL when she was younger, and she said "mom looked drop-dead gorgeous in that picture." Sure, she looked nice, but I'm not sure about gorgeous.
I always thought my mom was beautiful. There's a picture of her as a Homecoming Princess when she was in High School, and I remember thinking (when I was young) that she should have gone to Hollywood.
So I thought maybe EVERYONE thinks their mom is beautiful, regardless of whether she is.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I see beauty in everyone I love and cherish, of whom my mama tops the list. Beauty is so much more than the person's age and features. I do think my mama has lovely features (some of which she gave to me) and looks very young for her age, but even where she has flaws, to me they are beautiful because the wrinkles etc. indicate the sacrifices she made for us.

As a side note, my Moms friends call my Dad the Marlboro Man. There a pretty good looking couple

Going on just pure looks my mom is beautiful and could have been a model. Of course I think my mom is gorgeous but all of the women in my family are (so we have been told ).
But I think when you love someone you see them as beautiful because of what is on the inside and the love that comes from them.

I think my mom is pretty. She looks great now, and there are pictures of her when she was younger that are really beautiful. I always feel kind of narcissistic when I say she's pretty, though, because people think we look a lot alike! I hope I age as well as she has.
Edited: I think you're all right about the seeing inner beauty, too. I think I do this with everyone I love or care about, so it makes sense that I do it for my mom!

My mom is beautiful. She was fawned over in her 20s/30s/40s and still looks great in her 50s too!
Yes, everyone is probably predisposed to think their own parents look great and my mother certainly thinks that she is all that But the apparently objective input from so many non-relative strangers, friends, etc.. seems to punctuate the point.
And yes, in case you are wondering, my father is good lookin' too, and the same comment applies about so-called objective compliments from non-relatives... Both look young for their age and have great skin and youthful features. If my father lost his gut, he could even be dangerous No comment on my mother who still thinks she is 25 :P

Hee! My mom's a MILF too. She was a mere 14 when she had me, so there's not a huge age gap there with my friends. She's gorgeous -tiny, dark, thick wavy hair, big brown eyes. Never wears a trace of make-up because she doesn't need it. She gets more attention than I do!

My mom is absolutely lovely inside and out.
She's 74, 75 in November, and looks years younger. She's also just full of pep and vinegar, which adds to her youthfulness.
I love my mama. It's my dream and my desire to be half the woman she is.

I think my mother is beautiful, inside and out. She doesn't age, and has looked the same and has basically been the same size for over 25 years(of course her fashions have changed accordingly with the times). The only sign of her actual age is the gray hair that she is contantly dying. But then again, I have gray hair too. I hope that I age with the same grace that she has.

My mother is so pretty. At age 72, her skin is totally smooth which gives me so much hope.
