Default How long do you want to live?

I'm not sure I want to get any older than, say, 85. Is there anyone out there searching for the "fountain of youth?"

It does not really matter to me.

That sort of thing is out of my control regardless of what I want. And what I want may not be the best thing for me so I did not vote in the poll. I do not want to bring around any bad energy.

I want to be old, sitting on my front porch with millions of great-grandkids running around! The women in our family have all had very long and prosperous lives and it's given me alot to look up to as well as looking forward to. Definatly not forever, but for a really, really long time

I want to be healthy long enough to accomplish my dreams and when I am not healthy anymore, I just want enough time to say goodbye. I can't put a number on that, but I know I'll need a few decades.....

As long as I'm healthy and able to get around under my own steam and am not a burden to those I love. If that's when I'm 60, then so be it. If it's when I'm 90, that's even better!

I think age is relative. My 75 year old Mom is in better health than a couple of 50 year olds I know...

I would like to outlive my parents. Dying before them would be way too hard on them.

But yea, if i go tomorrow or today I have all my business in order for a clean getaway and to properly provide for my survivors.

I want to live to 120, and I want to spoil my great-grandkids and tick their parents off. It's a pattern I hope to establish over multiple generations.

I want to be the crotchety yet hilarious old grandma who no one will let drive herself around, and everyone watches out for afraid she'll break or something, but who cracks up everyone around her.

I've done a few internet tests where you answer questions based on your lifestyle to determine how long you will live. I swear everyone of them says I will live to 83. That actually seems right based on my genetics. Mom is almost 79 and doing really really well, but I've noticed her friends and our relatives seem to decline rapidly after 80.

I take these tests all of the time too and get in the 80 range and sometimes the 90s. I really want to maintain my health for as long as possible and work on it, so we'll see how I am feeling, acting and looking as I "get up there" in age

Anyway, I did not vote in the poll.

I always get late 90's, probably because all the women on both sides of my family have lived till their 90's or 100, I don't eat meat, don't smoke, don't tan, work out daily and drink moderately. But of course they aren't taking into account that you could get cancer or some other illness... or get hit by a car... or shot. You can go any time, so I am ready - I try to be at peace with the people I love and to make something of every day and not wait around for things I want but make them happen.

I wouldn't mind living to a very old age if I were relatively healthy. But most are not so luck. My DH great uncle just turned 100. Only uses a cane and still drives. That would be okay.
