I am such a dork. I think I realized WHO is the Scorp that you're getting the tatt for...am I right? LOL.
Let me know what you decide, as I was thinking some thing similar, but for a Leo and an Aquarius.

Have you been to a tattoo parlor/shop yet?
You can always take in a pic of what you're thinking of and they can help out with the artistic part of it. I am thinking that's what I may have to do. I love the astrological symbols, like the link above. You can do a lot with those, too...different colors, etc.

Mine is the height of my pinky finger long. (was that even a sentence????) A heart is very recognizable though... Not sure how big you would need to get him for the Scorpio symbol to be clear....

 Ok, girl, I'm almost afraid to ask what the type is... 
I will most likely get it contralateral to my other. The symbols will prolly be just black...if I go w/ shelli's idea, there will be color involved.
btw...J~ I have not been to the place that I would like to go...it would require some time to get to, so I'd prolly need to go on a day off & of course, I would want hubby there & they are great!

Ha, I have a lion for various reasons, but my daughter is a Leo. Recently I was looking for ideas of something for my son, who's an Aquarius- and waves or a vase was the only thing coming to mind (nothing cool in other words!)
