how often do you change your towels?

Do you use a new bathroom towel daily or do you keep the same one for longer like a week (or more)? How many towels do you use per event like one for hair and one for body or just one for both per shower/bath.

i have a towel at the gym that has been there for several months.

it is so stinky that i have begun drying myself with my t-shirt. maybe i will take it home and wash it.

I shower mostly at the gym and I have the towel service so.. my showers at home are just to wash my hair and do that every other day (or so). I use 3 towels for a shower.

i use two towels - shower towel and microfiber hair towel. i usually wash or switch both every week.

I use two towels - microfiber for the hair and a regular bath towel for the rest of me. I switch bath towels every couple of days. The hair towel gets washed every week.

I change them every week or so.

I guess I've never understood using a fresh towel every day when all I'm doing is drying off after a shower when I should be clean. It's not like I sit around in the towel all day.

Just my 2 cents.

Every few days. I like to get a few showers per towel but kids seem to use mine and they leave them on the floor or throw them in the hamper and at that point I'm not using them again. No planned timeframe. Simply matter of chance.

Usually daily. Our water has a funky smell to it, and if you leave the wet towels hanging in the bathroom for any length of time it makes the bathroom stink. I used to use the same bath towel for 3-4 days, and I probably will again when the water problem gets back under control.

I agree. Usually every weekend we'll throw all of the towels in the washing machine.

Me too, weekly. I'm never cleaner than just out of the shower. I never throw towels on the floor or let the cats play with them. They don't get dirty, why replace them every day?

Because DH uses them whenver he washes his hands or needs to wipe his hands because my towels are closest for him

I use 1 towel for my shower, and change it after a week. Same reasoning: I'm clean after a shower, so my towel isn't going to be dirty after one use.

I don't use a towel on my hair at all. (Except my plopping towel, and I change that after 1 week, too.)

I answered weekly but it's really about every 3-4 days. I usually use the same hair towel for a week because I only wash my hair every other day.

This has always been my thoughts too. I use 1 towel for my hair and one for my body.

My towel pet peeve with my husband is that he doesn't hang hand towels or kitchen towels up correctly. He just kinda wads 'em up and throws them on the towel bar/hook. I say, "Is that how we hang up our towels?" And he says, "That's how I hang up our towels...but let me try it your way!"

Is this going to become another shower curtain thread?

I use a different towel every three - four days, and I don't use a towel to bathe - I use the wash ball scrubby things and get rid of them once a month.
