Help! Cat scratched carpet.

My housemate accidently locked my cat in her room. My cat clawed a hole in the carpet. Is there any way to repair the damaged carpet? We rent.

Oh, and please no comment on the cat locked in the room. I just need carpet advice. TIA.

Color it in with a marker just before you move? Sorry...there's really no way to fix such a carpet injury. If you have an extra piece of the carpet, you could possibly do a patch...cut out the damaged part and put in a little replacement piece.

Maybe you can patch it? But first clean it to make sure cat does smell its scent and return to it. And get a cheap carpet square or 2 for your cat.
