Spring: about 1200 or so
What would motivate my dog to continually pee in the same spot on my carpet one day a week for the past three weeks?

The fact that you keep cleaning it up. It must be very frustrating for him.
What's a movie a lot of people seem to love but not you? For me, that movie is Avatar. I can't get over how silly it is.

I have no idea what that is (and I'm a techie, go figure)
Springy: swiss chard grows like a weed, pick up a packet of seeds and you'll be shocked. Just keep an eye out for caterpillers, they love it.
What are you reading atm?

Reading Steve Jobs biography. I definitely recommend it even if you're not a techie.
Why are women so complicated?

Women are complicated so men won't get bored with them. Um, I really don't know. My husband says I am the least complicated woman he knows. All he has to do is feed me (I get grumpy if my blood sugar drops), be nice to me and our family and I am totally happy. Go figure!

The washing/blow drying of my hair. I spend 45 minutes from start of shower to end at getting dressed and my hair still looks like crap.
sidenote: missbanjo, didn't you tell me about the hormel naturals bacon to try (if not, just ignore this)? We had it yesterday and it's good, but at $8 a package.... is there crack in it?
Do you grow any herbs? (for cooking, for cooking!)

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

I grow rosemary, parsley, chives, sage and gobs and gobs of basil. I brought my rosemary plant in from last year and bless her heart, she looks like crap. I bought a new small one and she's lovely. I'm hoping when they go outside together the youngster will coax some life back into the older one. I hope to branch out and plant veggies this year too. Tomatos, peppers, squash, peas, and and and and and ! LOL!
What's your favorite go-to herb?

I am pretty darn nuts about cilantro. I'm going to plant some herbs this year because we have a raised bed at this house that will be a good spot for them. Hopefully I can start incorporating more fresh herbs into my cooking!
Do you wear jewelry every day?

Nope. I can be a little forgetful in that department and forget to wear even just simple earings.

Not so much.
Springy: Yep it was me and I've never paid $8 for a package holy crap! It's something like $5.35 at my Walmart.
Who is your current favorite singer/band?

Probably "Cake." Neko Case runs a close second. It changes.
How come I never see pita bread with sesame seeds for sale anywhere?

They make pita bread with seeds? Also...Niko Case?? Are you from Vermont? She owns a restaurant nearby that does farm to table.
What should I do for my wife's birthday?

I am not from Vermont, but I would certainly frequent her restaurant.
You should get your wife a rescue pet for her birthday (but only if she'll agree to keep it).

What's the oddest dream you remember? Because last night I vaguely recall trying to rescue the world from a very surrealistic pseudo-biblical apocalypse (supposedly everything was happening according to scriptures, but really it was more of a Salvador Dali meets The Never Ending Story concoction of my subconscious).

It involved an angry Catholic saint, my father, and church steps. It was like my subconscious threw up.
Have you had one of those fancy-flavored exotic lollipops yet?

Is there a particular type/brand of lollipop you're talking about? I have a bag that has a mix of mango, blueberry, pomegranate, and a couple others. They're pretty tasty.
Have you ever tried yerba mate?

Love yerba mate. I use the dried gourd and bombilla. And I mix my own chocolate spice yerba mate. Mmmm.
What is your favorite flavor of Lifesaver?

Gosh, it's been so long since I had one, I don't recall, but if there was a butterscotch flavor, then that one.

That's a hard one. I liked Pete the dog, Buckwheat, and I thought Jackie Cooper and Robert Blake were just adorable as kids. One of the Gang was from around here but I can't remember which one.
Have you ever lived near railroad tracks?
