How many pairs of shoes do you own?

Just a guess without going upstairs to count -
10 pairs boots (rain, snow, biker, hiking, knee high, thigh high), 10 pairs heels, 3 pairs running shoes, 15 pairs flats/sneakers, 20 pairs flip flops/sandals.

How about you?

I've probably got about 6 pair. I really only wear two of those though, my tennis shoes and my flip flops. I really need to go shopping.

When was the last time you painted something? (Anything, art, walls, furniture...whatever)

Hmmm....my finger nails but that was months ago.

Do you think it's nuts that I have 200+ pairs of shoes?

No. I'm not even a shoe nut and am surprised I have 50+ pairs. So I can see that it would be easy for a real shoe lover to have many more.

How can springy only have 6 total pairs of shoes?

Because it seems no matter what shoe I try on they always make my feet hurt. Trust me, I'd have more if I could actually find some that didn't hurt my feet after walking in them for 3 minutes. It's very frustrating.

Do you have a food processor?

Can you tell that I love to cook and be in the kitchen.

I do. It's a medium sized one that I've had for 15-20 years. I don't use it often because I love chopping things with a knife, but it's great for the tons of pesto I make every summer.
oops, posting same time as speckla.
I also love the kitchen speckla!

What is your favorite kitchen appliance?

I'd have to go with my Kitchen Aid mixer. I use my blender every day, but I'm not super happy with it. My most loved kitchen item would be my Le Creuset casserole. I use it for sooooo much and I was afraid to touch it when Mr. Spring got it for me.

We three love the kitchen, three peas in a pod are we, Speckla, Spring and Jeeeeepy.

Do you ever talk to yourself?

I like cheese very much, but I'm not ready to take it to the next level.

Do you love table water crackers?

I think I could eat it if I had to, but I'd really rather not.

Do you prefer liquid or powder laundry detergent?

Liquid. I haven't used powder in decades.

Do you like Koolaid?

Yes, loved it! (I use less sweetener in my koolaid than the directions say so it's less sweet. I'm having a glass of grape right now.)

Do you make your own popsicles? (we used to make them out of koolaid in ice cubes trays.)

I have, but it's been a really long time. Last ones I made were strawberry yogurt.

I used to drink lemonaid Koolaid like it was going out of style. It was when we first got married and we couldn't afford to buy soda so Koolaid was my splurge.

I made my own powder laundry detergent a few weeks ago and I'm pretty impressed with it. I think I'll be making it from now on.

Do you have any bird feeders or birdhouses in your yard? (we have baby birds on the front porch under the eave, they're out there just chirping away)

I feel fine about vertical blinds, although my house came with horizontal ones.

Do you think the producers ought to cut poor Misery Bear a break already?

Perhaps. But Misery Bear is so dang entertaining.

When writing, is it best to work through writers block or take a break?
