Irrational people?

Did you bother with your hair today? I seriously debated about washing it, but, thankfully, I eventually caved. It was starting to stink (PU!)

I have to wash/condition/gel/diffuse every single day. Yes, it's as much of a pain as it sounds.

Do you curse?

Trying to curb it a bit, but yes. I remember being accused of having a mouth like a sailor by a high school teacher once. She just happened to hear me in a very annoyed moment though.

Are you still in your PJs?

I'm still in the t-shirt I slept in, but I've added pants (dog walking required it).

How do I get my neighbors to stop killing snakes?

tell them that snakes are pest control.

Speaking of pests, why would a pest control guy drill holes in my building?

To provide an escape hatch for bees, etc. that have housed themselves in the walls?

Do you have any rhododendrons?

Not at my current house but there are millions of them around here. They bloomed early this year and are about done already.

What is your state flower? (ours is mountain laurel which is in full bloom right now. it's not all that great looking even in bloom).

It's the poppy which I absolutely adore. Which reminds me I bought seeds and forgot all about them!

Have you ever had a professional massage?

No, but for reasons long and involved I sent her to live with my mother for a little bit when she was little. the first week she called and said "she's beautiful!" second week: "i really like your dog! you need to come get her soon or i might not give her back." week 3: "your mutt at my shoe." LOL Week 4 was "I LOVE your dog!"

so it wasn't MY shoe... but a shoe was eaten.

Do you feel like your "not quite awake yet" until you've finished your morning routine? like, if you skip it, are you off all day?

Yes, somewhat. And if I don't get breakfast soon enough (like today), I start to get a mad stomach ache.

What should I bake today, some sort of bread or cookies?

How about a bread-like cookie-ish thing, like gingerbread?

Do you have a favorite color for flowers?

purple. I love purple flowers. I told my mom that i love them and don't know why and she started laughing and said that when i was really little she only ever planted purple flowers in our garden.

Why can't I seem to answer any questions without a story attached? LOL

Because it's more interesting. I'm the same way.

I vote chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. I've got a mad craving and am trying to put off baking any myself!

Do you use any type of fragrance in the house like a reed diffuser, those plug in things, spray, candles, etc?

Love the dog-shoe story! I'm another one who can't just say - yes, no, grapefruit, 62. I have to explain my answers.

I use scented candles and have some room sprays for when I'm getting company or the realtor is having an open house, etc.

What is your favorite house fragrance? (mine is vanilla or cinnamon)

I have a vanilla lime oil from The Body Shop I like, crisp apple is good, and in the fall/winter I like a cinnamon apple smell or a warm spiced vanilla.

Do you ever cut the crust off your sandwich?

I sometimes cut the top crust off just because I don't like the top crust on commercial bread. No idea why. I give it to the birds and they like it fine.

Do you cut your sandwiches in half in the middle or corner to corner?

Corner to corner...makes me feel like a little kid! I even have a sandwich shaped sandwich box in which to hold my sandwich.

What's your favorite kind of sandwich?

I don't eat sandwiches often but lately I've been loving good old Jiff smooth peanut butter on Smart Wheat bread.

How about you?

I really like a wide variety of sandwiches. How about, almost "anything without meat on it." Also, no avocado. Wait, wait --- no mass made mayo, either. Hate the stuff.

Is patience a virtue or a "roadblock to success"?
