I wear biker boots all summer. But regular 'fashion' boots I probably will wear into the 60's.

Do you wear hats all year?

Unfortunately my head doesn't do well in hats because it's kinda big, but I'm ok with that. If we're going out in the canoe I wear a visor, but that's about the only hat type thing that ever goes on my head.

What was the last thing you purchased?

I bought a purse at the dollar store last night for $5.

How about you?

New cell phones yesterday at Costco. It was funny because all we had at the checkout were these two pieces of paper because the phones will be shipped to us. Most expensive pieces of paper ever.

I need a new purse.

How many purses do you have? And do you change them up often or carry the same one until it falls apart?

I probably have 15 or so. I love purses and especially love cheap purses. But I'm fussy about size and weight. Otherwise I would probably have a hundred of them. I change once a week or so.

What color is the purse you are wearing right now?

I too have quite a lot of cheap purses. I have an old cedar trunk full of them, plus at least a dozen smallish ones in my closet. I think I have probably around 30. Maybe more if I count wallets and wristlets.

The most recent was a $3 Wonder Woman bag. Its kind of canvas/cotton material.

The one I'm carrying now is a light brown. Almost a burnt orange. Its longish lengthwise. Almost briefcase looking. Its actually leather. Its my favorite.

Do you ever change your toilet seat?

funny, I also store my big purses in a truck and my small ones in the closet.

I have changed toilet seats before. Not in this house yet since I bought it before it was even built so it's still fairly new.

Do you like shopping for house items like toilet seats, shower curtains, and the like?

Yes! I also love the hardware store. Get me in Lowe's and I can wander around for a while and totally enjoy it.

Quesadilla or grilled cheese?

I very much think so. Sometimes a few mole hills are much worse than a mountain.

Have you ever been mountain climbing?

Nope. I don't like heights.

Why does regular yoghurt, frozen, taste better than frozen yoghurt?

I don't care for yogurt in any form so I don't think I've ever had regular yogurt frozen.

iroc, your question is hard! I can't choose! I love the beach. But I love the woods too.

I'm passing to the next person --

Neither, really. Both sound kind of dull. I've determined I'm a city-vacationer. Or, at the very least, if I'm going somewhere coastal, there has to be some form of metropolitan area to hold my interest.

Limes or lemons?

* we just went to the beach last weekend, and even though it was a new england beach strip type situation, and we had a great time, there were too many people, too much 'partying', too much alcohol induced ridiculousness. - give me a lake, some woods, peace and quiet, maybe a canoe - I'd be happy! *

anyway, it depends. Lime with tacos, margaritas, guacamole, lemon with fish....okay, probably limes!

Do you decorate in dark or light colors?

Preferably light, but that's to counteract my shady house.

Have you had enough of the word "boss"?

It doesn't really bother me. but I severely limit my interactions with anyone who might use it for other than its intended purpose, so that might be why.

How did Claudine's hair appointment go? Did it work? LOL

Probably, she said he's a good stylist. Hopefully he didn't get bossy on her.

What phone did springy get?

Springy got a Motorola Razr (I read it on another thread).

Claudine's hair appt. was a bust. The salon lost power and said they couldn't call anybody to cancel as a result, but Claudine is wondering if they have a written appt. book and were just lazy. (Thank you for asking, though )

Why on earth do people still fly the Confederate flag?

(pssst, razr maxx, although I'm not sure what the difference is from the regular razr to the razr maxx other than I think they like spelling things weird and adding extra letters)
