Have you ever lived in another country?

No and I won't jinx myself by discussing it. I always responded to people who asked where we would move next: "As long as it's not to CA!!" and look what happened.

Do you have a DVR?

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

Yep. I've lived all over the place.

ETA: Darn. No, I do not have a DVR.

What's your all time favorite book?

The Lord of the Rings series. I've read it probably 30 times and love it every time.
After that there are lots of sci-fi and horror books that I love.

How about you?

The Hunger Games Trilogy, and Divergent. I don't really read classics like Lord Of The Rings. I like newer novels.

Are you going to see the new Spiderman movie?

I rarely see movies in the theater, so probably not. I don't think I even saw the last Spiderman movie at all so I'd be lost.

Do you read comic books?

I read graphic novels, and I did read Harvey Pekar's comics.

Don't you wish you could have silence while on hold?

Yes, but then I would worry that I got disconnected.

Do you change your desktop background often?

No, I have a picture of my younger dog on mine from when she was probably 10 weeks old. I'm sure I put it on there soon after I took it and she's 3 now.

What's your favorite mid-afternoon snack?

I get bored easily so I change the desktop quite often. Maybe like, 2 times a week.

What's your favorite cartoon?

Have you ever punched someone?

Only jokingly, not in a serious fight or anything.

Do you get along with your in-laws?

I did, when I had them. They were/are lovely people.

My favorite afternoon snack is cereal or cheese and crackers.

Do you put ice in your water all year round?

I don't usually put ice in anything at home. It's just a lazy thing more than preference though. I'll drink ice water if it's served to me all year round though. My SIL always orders drinks without ice in restaurants - iced tea, no ice, for example. I find it odd.

Do you prefer to drink through a straw?

If I'm out, yes. For some reason it's more fun when I'm not at home.

Iguanas or Geckos?

Boy I don't know. I've lived in places where both are prevalent and they are both kind of creepy. Geckos because they're little and they scurry really quickly which startles you and you find them in crazy places... like the ceiling above your bed...

But iguanas are freaking huge and you can be almost right next to one before you see it... and they have big claws and red eyes, and there's always this tiny tiny primal voice in my head telling me to run and screaming "DRAGON!!!!!!!" when I see one... so it's a bit unsettling.

any weekend plans?

^^ Great description of geckos/iguanas. hahaha.
Saturday night my sister and I are taking my dad out to his favorite Italian place for Father's Day, then to my house for dessert and coffee and to play Yahtzee.
Sunday is up in the air, depending on weather. Go to the beach, or to the hot air balloon festival (sometimes they go right over my house so I don't even have to go anywhere to watch them), or go cheer for some friends in a triathlon.

What are you a junkie for? (for example - shoes, makeup, jewelry, nail polish, etc)
