Music makes no sense to me. I love it, it moves me and brings back memories and makes me happy or sad or energized. But I can't read it and don't understand how people make music.

Can you read music?

A little bit, but one of my music teachers really pushed me to "play by ear" so I had to focus more on that. I tried again at choir but didn't get far. I can sing a mean "Do Re Mi" though.

I saw the nice woman with the mole on her lip today. What's the weirdest place you've seen someone have a mole (and not a flat mole, either)?

I can! I used to play the viola and the flute. I probably can't do a thing on the viola anymore but I still can play the flute decently.

I wanted to play the saxophone but my band director said girls couldn't play the sax or the drums in his band...hmph!

Has there ever been a time that someone told you that you couldn't do something but you succeeded anyway?

Haha many times in hockey. As a girl I recieved a lot of crap in the early stages of my career playing with the boys and when I moved to girls was still put down. I was basically told I would never advance, move up or get anywhere. Now Im playing at a high level and have the opportunity to go places

What was the last argument you had (you can skip if too personal) and with who?

With the SO, about his daughter, which is most of our fighting. He projects his childhood onto her and tries to compensate for everything he didn't have, didn't do, etc. It's tiresome.

Do you keep track of your period? I didn't until the endo started and I wanted to track the pain. Now I keep track of it all.

Do you follow the work of any comedians?

Has anyone annoyed you today?

Not intentionally, but there have been a few things sprouting in my compost heap over the years. Also, watercress and mint grow wild here but few people realize it and use either.

If I have to get the type of job that keeps body and soul together, what would you recommend as a good place to look?

What do you mean - location? - type of work? (anything whatsoever connected with healthcare) - websites?

Do you ever wish you lived in a different time or place? When and where?

I think a lot of people idealize the 1960s, but it looks very disturbing and chaotic to me. I wish I'd had the same work experience I have now in a better economy, but I'd be concerned about wishing for a different, earlier time, since things for women were probably (even) worse than they are now. I think I'd have had fun as an adult in the mid to late seventies, but I might also have become a coke fiend who spent every night in a disco. (Blech.)

What would it take for you to move from where you live now?

The military telling us to. Which they better not for at least three more years or I'll have a nervous breakdown. I love it here.

How many states have you lived in?

Yes, very nice!

Does it sound like he's maybe falling in love with her? Read on...Sometimes he hugs her so tight it squeezes the breath outta her. Then he lifts her up off the ground. He kisses her shoulder and strokes her face with his hand. He shares a lot of personal things about his childhood or important things he has done/experienced. He tells her she's beautiful. They work together and he visits her at least once day, sometimes more. And they IM a lot. And 2 weeks ago he watched her walk home to make sure she got home ok. But his boss wouldn't let him leave to walk with her. They've been together 3 months.

It sounds like "uh oh" to me.

Do the people who run air conditioners all the time, even when it's a rare cool day, do so because of allergies?

Probably, but they would require sustained effort........which leads right back to the issue in question.
