Sure. The boyfriend has an old metal roof on his house and I love the way it sounds in the rain. But acorns dropping on it in the middle of the night can be disconcerting. And loud.

If my dad needs a prescription refilled or if he needs to make an appointment, he asks my mom to make the phone call for him. Even he just wants to order a pizza... But he can call family fine. It's like he's afraid of anyone else or something. I don't think it's laziness. He's not shy or timid either. He's always been like this, before age/dementia were issues. What could cause someone to be like that?

I'm not sure about your dad, but I've almost always disliked making phone calls. I think a part of it stems from always being criticized for how fast I speak and having to repeat myself. I've slowed down considerably, but it's still a challenge sometimes and I detest repeating myself.

Yes and no. I'm looking forward to going up to see my family, but I'm a little stressed about traveling with the wee man. It'll be his first long car trip. Wish me luck! And NO, I cannot believe this year is almost over. This has been the fastest year of my whole life.

That's what I call a Photoshop fail. They made her thigh slimmer and it made the top of her calf all funky looking.

I would only go to a doctor if I thought I had a sinus or ear infection that wouldn't go away or thought I might be getting pneumonia. For a long lasting cold? No.

(I also hate making phone calls, always have. I have to practice before calling to make an appointment or reservations or to order something or anything like that.)

Are there any songs you like just on certain occasions or in certain situations? For example, I like Corinne Bailey Rae's Put Your Records On. Whenever I hear it in the car, I turn it up louder.
