That fine line between fiction and non-fiction; or lately, early 20th century English novels by women: Nancy Mitford, Ivy Compton-Burnett. Also graphic novels (illustrated novels).

Do you wash or dry clean wool sweaters? And why are wool socks so expensive?

I have a cashmere zippy sweater that I washed on gentle and dried flat. It came out fine. Not sure why wool socks are more $$. Maybe more of a process to harvest the wool and make them.

If wool sweaters are dry clean only, are wool socks too?

Yes but breezy.

Should I just give in and groom my dog myself? I really don't want to pay to get him groomed but I'm worried he'll look weird if I do it.

Sure --- give it a try. Hair grows, and he won't care if he looks weird. Look up some tips online if you're nervous.

What fashion mishap did you work when you were younger? (i.e. legwarmers, etc.)

I've smoked just about everything and anything in the past 35-40 years. Not saying that's a good thing. Or a bad thing. : )

How many traffic tickets have you gotten?

Bright orange-red! Haven't painted them in years ... always a nude pale pink or something. It's a nice jolt of color.

Can you knit?
