Bleu cheese crumbles, yum!

(Husband made dark chocolate mousse btw, with a splash of triple sec, double yum!)

Why aren't more people posting pictures of cute redheads?

I guess because not everyone finds them attractive?

Why do dogs and cats prefer drinking dirty puddle water to clean, cool water in their nice bowls at home?

Puddle water, mice, chipmunks are all pusscat/puppydog fast food. Sometimes they just gotta has it.

When buying a super awesome gift for a friend, do you usually buy one for yourself too while you're at it?

If it is a super awesome item that I want or need, then yes I do.

Is anyone besides me making brussels sprouts tomorrow? (I'm making the bacon, walnut, balsamic vinegar recipe someone posted on the bacon thread. It is yum.)

No, but I hope they're serving some at the place where I'm eating. I love brussels sprouts.

Do you envy people who can get second day hair?

Absolutely!!! I was just thinking about it today when blow drying my hair.

Have you ever participated in a parade?

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

No. Since the cooler weather has come in I regularly get 2nd day hair.

No, I've never been in a parade.

What do you miss from the 80's?

I can't admit it on this thread.

I think some flakes here and there but nothing major. I've been in a few blizzards here around thanksgiving so it looks like a good forecast to me this year.

Do your pets get treats during holiday celebrations?

Absolutely. Calvin gets to lick the turkey platter after the meal. At Christmas he gets to open his own present and has his own stocking. In case anyone wants to see the ridiculousness: Spoiled much?

Yep!! Fluffs' bday was last weekend so we went and got him some treats and toys. He gets turkey, stuffing and potatoes (Just a spoonful) on Thanksgiving and he gets a stocking for Christmas. Yes, he's spoiled rotten.....

Do you like Swedish Fish?

Milk. White chocolate makes me sick to my stomach and I dislike the taste of dark chocolate.

Do you like fruity or chocolatey candy?

Chocolatey

Have you ever spent so much time cooking and then cleaning up after that you are just exhausted?

Normally that's Thanksgiving for me. I spend so much time cooking the entire meal for us that I barely want to eat by the time we sit down. I'm learning a little more each year about time mgmt. though. This year my big meal will be at Christmas though.

What is your favorite cookie?

I have a love for Snickerdoodles, Pepparkakor, and Gingerbread. A good Chocolate Chip is also nice.

Do you know where your family is from? My mom's side is Swedish and German, and my dad's is Scottish and Welsh.

You mean our ethnicity? Well, we have some Guinea-Bissaun on my mom's side. Her dad was Black, but she doesn't know what race her mother was (Who doesn't know that about their own mother?). She also has some Native American blood, as does my dad. He was adopted so I'm not so sure about him other than to say he's got some African in him!

How can I find a karaoke bar in SE Pennsylvania?
I already tried yellowbook.com and Googled Karaoke Bars w/ (and w/o) the name of my area.
