How do you feel about people who are capable of bearing children, but adopt because they don't want to pass on some sort of physical trait?
I think that's fine. Having children or not having children is a choice and if they choose not to, well so be it. I think it's nice that they would consider adopting and giving a home to a child that obviously needs one.

How do you feel about the growing rate of autism in this country? Does it frighten you?

Yes, it does frighten me and it is one of the reasons I chose to study Speech Language Pathology.

How old were you when you had your first kiss?

I honestly can't remember, I was young though. It was one of those little innocent kisses but I can't for the life of me remember how old I was!

Have you had your wisdom teeth grow in? Have you taken them out?

I still haven't gotten my wisdom teeth but I have had my molars taken out and it hurt like hell. Not so much the extraction but the four shots I was given to numb my mouth. The dentist kept hitting a nerve.

Whats your all time favorite music album?

Birthday party for one of my husband's friends, its at an African restaurant and I'm more excited by the food than the company...

If you are/were married: did you have a big or a small wedding?
If you have not been married: what would your dream wedding look like?

My dream wedding would be on the beach somewhere in the Caribbean, with only a few guests or no guests at all.

If you use natural products on your hair, do you also use natural products on your body?

workout, check NC forums, watch movies, write, talk to a friend while checking NC forums, workout some more, shower, and go to sleep.

Do you or your SO cut your own yard or do you pay people to do it for you?

My parents pay someone to cut our lawn.

Do you feel that children should be sheltered from unhappiness?

No. Children should be exposed to all things, good and bad. I knew kids growing up who didn't go to their relatives funerals because their parents didn't want them to see so many sad people. I think that's sad in itself. Children have to learn to deal with emotions of all kinds.

Sundays or Saturdays?

Stretch jeans. I have both and just that little bit of stretch makes them more form-fitting yet more forgiving also.

Should teenagers be given their own car (used or otherwise) when they get their drivers license (not the permit)?

I don't know. I think it depends on the individual kid. I was "given" a car as a teenager, but I was also responsible for paying for everything besides the actual car (gas, repairs, insurance). I think if the teenager is responsible, has good grades, and a PT job, then it would be ok if the parents can afford it. If it's a burden on the parents, they should absolutely not feel it necessary.

What was your first car?

It's been a while since I've seen the film but I actually really liked his performance. I wish I thought Jack Nicholson was an overrated actor but I've seen almost all of his movies, and I do find him very talented.

What are your three desert island albums?

Er... nothing. I can't imagine wearing turquoise shadow in any serious daily makeup routine. From a truly basic color perspective, I'd go with copper or some other warm tone for contrast or another blue in the blue-green family for a gradation effect.

Do you go for a natural look? (With makeup)

I have a friend who does a whole peacock look with turquoise, blue and gold eye shadows then black liquid liner. When she told me about it I thought it would make her look like a drag queen, but it looks great!

I was a senior in high school and I was in English class with just a few minutes left of the period when we heard that a plane had hit a skyscraper in NYC. (I'm from an hour outside NYC, so some of my classmates' parents worked in the city.) At that point, everyone thought it was an accident and only a small plane. I was in Art class a few minutes later and we put the TV on to see what was happening. I watched the second plane hit the tower and both towers collapse. My dad was driving into NY that morning and then onto DC that afternoon for a business event. We couldn't get him on the phone because all the cell signals were full. When we finally got ahold of him, he said people on the streets in DC were laying flat on the sidewalk. It was pretty scary and hard to understand.

Peanut butter or jelly? You can only pick one.
