Any car that looks like a London Taxi?
I want a Mini Cooper (convertible one) but my dad thinks it's too small (afraid that a truck will crush me or something). He doesn't mind other convertibles as long as they're a bit bigger, but for some reason all of the others (even the really pricey ones) just look stupid to me. I hate that really low, struffed feeling most convertibles have, as if the seat is almost touching the floor.
The only other cars I like are just about this size. Except London taxis, which I obviously can't drive.Any other cars witha similar shape? Don't have to be a convertible. Anything. I'm really bad in the car brands

Your post made me curious, so I did a little research. They are called Hackney Carriages, looks like there are several brands listed here:

A convertible PT Cruiser?
Jokes aside, get the MINI. I have a hardtop, but my sister has a convertible and loves it. It's little, but still a very solid car.

Does your dad want you to drive a tank? PT Cruisers (blegh) and VWs are not tiny cars. Also VWs are very safe, I'm biased I have one, and my dad would not let me drive something dangerous.
Sure it is! they're just white.

You could get the mini all reinforced like they did in the Italian Job so they could steal the heavy gold bars without them dragging on the ground.

The PT is smallish really.
The Mini and PT do well in crash tests. The Vert PT though went out of production late last year so it could mean two things. You can find a PT Vert dirt cheap since dealers want to get rid of them or you won't be able to find one. And if you look at them GET the Turbo - sooooo much more fun to drive.
And trust me the PT is a tank. I have real world crash test data on that one. I own two of them and I have seen many many pics of real world crashes on the PT Cruiser boards and people walking away. Including one of my own where I was rear-ended at 45mph by a Pathfinder and shoved into a Sequioa. I walked away shaken and the PT was repaired and I drive it everyday.
The Mini hardtop is just coolness, if I didn't need a PT Cruiser for my stuff and doggy. I would be all over that as a toy car. Oh the stuff you can do to one to make it a quick little track monster.
Yes I'm a gearhead girl and no one can tell me about helmet head - its from wearing a helmet!

If you live in Dubai you're dad is probably loaded so I'd try to at least get a Mercedes out of him if I were you.

Why a dork? I have to be a bit of a looney to have two PT Cruisers. One I drive everyday and one I use as a track car. It keeps people in real sports cars on their toes when they get passed by a "Mommy Car" on the race track.

I saw a bright red Mini convertible today. It was the hotness. I now want.
The only time I've ridden in a PT Cruiser, I thought I was going to die. It too was a convertible and had the rear window visibility of a peephole. It took like half an hour to accelerate to highway speed, and then it was all shaky as other cars zoomed by.

the PT cruiser is definitely. bigger than the mini. i've rented them a few times. they're really cute, definitely look like a london taxi, but in my experience, they have horrible pickup. takes a while to get them up to speed on the highway.
