If you were to wear them with jeans, what kind (and color) of socks would you wear?

Black, beige or some other dark color.

I would treat them pretty much exactly like sneakers and not dress shoes. I would wear them with jeans only and would wear white socks with them. I think beige or brown socks would look ok too, as long as they were not thin dress socks, which would look out of place with those shoes IMO.

I'd definitely wear them with jeans. My sneakers are black and electric blue, so not "neutral" either, and I usually wear the low white socks with them.

I have a pair of shoes similar to those. I wear them with jeans or khakis and I typically wear khaki-colored or brown socks with them. I generally don't wear them with white socks.
