LOLOLOLOL........ For you, Gstring, I would consider wearing a tiger print and lace bikini with 4 inch black patent leather heels to an interview (for an interview I didn't care about in some god forsaken red state when hell freezes over, but still, I would consider it).

Yes, with modifications/qualifications. I think the neckline would need to be tailored or fitting to be a little more modest or there would need to be a cami or tank underneath and/or a jacket or cardigan. And I think it would depend on the industry - totally fine for working in the arts, but possibly not for a more corporate setting.

I am with g-string - I don't like the black pantsuit uniform and do NOT plan to wear one!

OK, you're still my friend.

The only good part about it is the skirt. That's the right type for an interview. But the deep scoop is way unprofessional, and I really don't like the color or how it looks.

I'd suggest that you wait until after you get the job to wear the dress (with the higher neck line as you described), but definitely NOT for an interview. In a professional setting it's always best to be conservative.

OK...I wore a navy pantsuit. And apparently the firm likes me! Stay tuned!
