I'd take it off, take a nap, and either pawn it and buy a plasma tv or put it back on in 30 days. Either way, a nap is in order.

Just because it always helps to busy the hands when your mind is racing.
Sleeping too much could just help push you into a slumpy state of being.

My personal option would have been pour a Jack and Coke, take a nap, then head off to the nearest pawn shop to deal with ring.

i only put down wear the engagement ring because I think you should keep the ring...it may have bad memories but it cost him money and you are worth fine jewelry.

A poll like this needs a combination of options.
I voted for "take a nap", because I know my world is always just a bit brighter after I get some sleep. Hope yours is, too.
