Eye cream - truth or fiction?

I genetically have dark circles under my eyes. They will never go away.

there are things you can do for dark circles - even hereditary ones - that can help reduce the darkness. raise the head of your bed a couple of inches, for example, so blood isn't pooling under your eyes while you sleep.

skin around eyes is very thin, so don't rub your itchy eyes. instead, flush them with nonmedicated saline drops and/or place a cold bathcloth over them to soothe the itchiness.

also, pulling and tugging on the lids while applying makeup can also contribute to the skin stretching and wrinkles developing around your eyes.

Eye creams do work, but only if they contain sunblock for day creams and retinol for night ones. That's the same as in your regular moisturizers. Unless you have especially sensitive eyes, you can use your normal moisturizer around the eye area for the same results.
Slight guano but someone I knew used to clean her face with Crisco. She had great skin. The fact that she was in a mental hospital is totally unrelated.
lol.

I had to comment to say I appreciated *your* comment
