Will there be a...
Curlyswap this year? 
I lurked for so long and saw a couple different curly swaps (valentines, Christmas, etc..) but this would be my first time participating!
Are we gonna do one, huh, huh, huh!!

I participated last year and I had a blast. It was sort of like a Secret Santa. We sent our real names and address to the coordinator.
The coordinator gave each of us one real name and address, along with the nc name so we could look at preferences, and we sent off a gift. We also had a value limit - maybe $20?
To prevent delivery issues, we used delivery confirmation last year IIRC.
The recipient then posted on a thread to let us know that she recieve her package.

I was actually just thinking of this yesterday but didn't get to post. Usually it's all prepared by the end of Oct so we can shop and mail. Kinda late, but heh? 
I thought maybe no one mentioned it since the economy was so bad. 
I have participated in each winter holiday swap, fun!

not to pat myself on the back or anything... (okay maybe a little.. he he he) I coordinated it last year and we only had one scrooge I think! I thank everyone for being so good about getting your gift out on time! The swap is only as good as the people who participate!!
