I've heard the second bolded, too. But the idea inferred was, "why vote for him, he'll just get assasinated if he wins." This came from an intelligent, normally reasonable person. I was astounded.

All these stories make me want to cry especially the ones involving children. It just shows you racism is alive and well and living in the United States...Africa and China was celebrating Obama's win, whats wrong with this country? My kids school did not announce or talk about who won the election. just sad.

About once a week - Condition with Curls Milkshake. Comb in Kinky Curly Leave In Conditioner & Kinky Curly Curling Custard after squeezing most of the water out of my hair. Use table top dryer for 10 minutes. Use diffuser for 10 minutes.
Daily - Lightly wet hair. Comb in a little Kinky Curly Curling Custard if needed. Use table top dryer for a few minutes or let air dry.
Shampoo - Only before straightening.

UGH! Reading all these stories is just making me madder and madder!

So many people at my school are saying comments like that: "He's going to get assassinated." I don't pay any attention to it because I know it's not going to happen.

What the heck is wrong with people! My daughter was driving home from the store today and some guy wrote the following on a poster board and taped it to his piece of crap van: congrats America for choosing a man who is muslim/socialist terrist to rule our country. RIP America.

How crazy is that!

I've heard about his supposed assassination and the chain texts. There was even one white girl say "America's not ready for a black president..." and "He gave his speech behind bullet proof windows..."

When will America ever be ready? You had a warning (the campaign). Change just happens. Most times its gradual, and if you're so worried about being ready you'll never get around to it happening!

Was that what I saw? I was wondering about security measures in Grant Park and during a camera shot from behind, I saw something that looked like a shield, off to the right.

I refuse to let myself think that something will happen to Obama. If you believe in the power of prayer, please keep him in yours. I want to stay positive.
