Thanks everyone!
Dad just called & said the test results show lymphoma. Mom's surgeon does not think that she will have to have any treatment. I am praying he is right. He wants her to go & see an oncologist. Mom goes for her check up from surgery 10 days from when she had surgery. Tom will be a week. Then after that, she will have an appt to see the oncologist.
Your support has been so wonderful. Words cannot express how grateful I am. Please stay w/ me thru the end of this mess...

Wile, you and your family remain in my thoughts. Seeing an oncologist is the best thing to do. Also (and this is totally unrequested advice), if you and your family at any time believe you want to get a second opinion, don't be afraid to speak up and request a referral. I have very good friends who are physicians and they steadfastly believe in this practice.

Scarlet...thank you so much! That is really good to know. I appreciate the advice as well...
I am a big believer in second opinions. I have already told my folks to not rush into anything. I'm pretty vocal about this kinda stuff...can you imagine? lol
I told Mom way back when she should have gotten a SO, but sometimes that falls on deaf ears...grrr
