I cannot believe I have never posted in this thread before! I low carb now and that means I eat bacon whenever I want. I was eating a hardboiled egg and three slices of bacon before work the other day and everyone was teasing me about my protein intake. My dietician friend proceeded to tell me that bacon is all fat and not a good source of protein and that I shouldn't eat the yolks because that is just fat too. I told her you know I love you but you know I don't follow that psuedo-science behind the food pyramid/my plate whatever you are pushing and unlike you, I like to actually eat food with flavor.

2. I would love a doormat in the style of that pillow. Like a twist on the classic astroturf-with-a-daisy doormat.

3. My fella has been dabbling with CURING OUR OWN BACON at home. The first try was so good, I can't even imagine how it will be once he gets good at it. There's one curing in the fridge that should be ready tomorrow; he added brown sugar this time.
