I'm weird. I love turkey bacon better than regular bacon (even the Irish kind) but only from Trader Joes or Whole Foods

Mmmm, bacon. Love it. If I ever became a vegetarian, I would miss it. And I don't really even eat bacon that frequently, but I always know it's there when I need it, like a familiar friend.

I miss bacon! I nearly died of a heart attack (no pun intended, I promise) when I saw the price of it here not long after I moved to Denmark. It's crazy! That and bread (go figure) are two things that are 3 times the price they are at home, even taking into account the higher cost of living here. So sad.

I don't care if it's 10 times the cost, you gotta have some bacon every once in a while.

Ohhhh, bacon, my love. Every Sunday, my boyfriend and I go out to breakfast, and we're very big diner people. We both almost always get bacon with our breakfasts, but the best part? I always ask them to cook mine a little soft so I can have the fattier parts, because what's even better than bacon? Slightly fattier bacon. Which grosses out my boyfriend (who always gets his crispy), and he can practically live off of bacon if you gave him half the chance. I've out-baconed the bacon king.
AND - I just looked up bacon on the Weight Watchers points tracking system, and three yummy slices are only four points! I thought it would be something outlandish, like 15 points - which it is, but only when you add cheeseburgers to it.

Ah, bacon! It's ruined many a good intention for me . . . . Even when I just smell it, I'm like that dog on the Beggin' Strips commercial
I don't dislike turkey bacon, but my taste buds DO NOT believe it's the real thing. Sometimes they just must appeased!

Bacon is a very powerful thing. Most anything is better than bacon. When my husband and I are looking for a quickie dinner and we're not concerned about how wicked awful it is for us, we make mac and cheese (the kind from a box with powdered cheese-- I don't care what anyone says, that stuff is farking delicious) and crumble up pre-cooked bacon into it.
Salads? Bacon.
Sammiches? Bacon.
I love bacon.

I usually don't eat bacon, but I make an exception when we're in the Adirondacks and pick some up at Oscar's Smokehouse. It's the real deal.

My trick is that I bake my bacon. People think I'm crazy still they try it. Cooks faster and it's much crispier

Bacon has gotten a bum rap. People talk about it like it's poison. It's just meat. It's no worse for you than a piece of chicken...which isn't bad at all. Humans require protein and meat is a good source of protein. Long live the bacon.

Vosges (a fancy shmancy chocolate shop) sells chocolate covered bacon. Or maybe it's chocolate with bacon just in it. I don't know. Either way, yikes.
I recently had a fried peanut butter and banana sandwich with bacon. It was on this lovely brioche. And they drizzled it with wildflower honey, for the love of dog. While I ate it, I forgot all other food.
In Puerto Vallarta, I noticed lots of little stands in the streets that were selling bacon-wrapped hot dogs.
Bacon freaking rules. I wish I had some right now.
