I don't understand why people get so freaked out over pieces of metal, you know?

We had an accident in the 69 and we got it fixed but, it was a very sad day!

I just slid my Caliber (daily driver) into a snowbank two weeks ago (avoiding my neighbors dog, who they don't watch, errrggg) just cracked the bumper a little. To me that is not a big deal, but our collector cars are a whole different story. It took 3 years to build the 69, every weekend in the garage, long nights, busted knuckles. We are only the 3rd owner of our 68 and I know all the details from when it was ordered in our local Dodge dealer in 1967. They are pieces of history.

I know what ya mean. I am really only the second owner of my Stang. I've got the original plates, owner's manual, sticker, etc... Plus, all of the history on the car & it's all original...definitely pieces of history

I haven't seen pics of your cars before! Nice! I love old cars! We are actually going to buy a 1966 Dodge pickup truck tomorrow! Now I suppose I am going to have to build another garage, we are running out of space! Here are some pics of our cars. I have some more in my fotki. Dh is thinking about converting his 69 back to a plain old charger, he is tired of some of the idiots his car attracts and the assumptions that some people make. Our friend has a 1968 Charger called the General Grant, it has a 50 on the door and an American flag on the roof. We get a kick out of people who have no idea why he did that!
