I have my page set to have the maximum posts, so it was on page 112 for me. Look for posts around 2/19/09. curlyjane something or other.

Recap, for those who are just joining us (since there seems to be some confusion): this is an old thread I started a few months ago. The poster I was referring to (who was "outed" by name earlier in this thead) seems to have stopped posting, but now a new poster with almost exactly the same username has popped up this week and is responding to the original poster's posts.

Also, I sent a PM to Michelle or Gretchen (can't remember which!) about the poster when I first noticed it, because I thought it might be some sort of bot. I would assume they looked into it.

Totally new 'has anyone else noticed'

Two posters have recently become quite "trolly". I'm suspecting one and the same.

Just me.

....throwing things out there...... seeing what sticks.....

I had a lady @ Our Mom Spot site do that. She was deeply disturbed in other ways...The way we got it to stop was ...we googled some of the text she posted one time & then posted the actual source + told her about the evils of plagiarism... She was so embarrassed, she didn't log on again.

But she, at least, had the sense to change the font size from the original stuff she copied.

As an Administrator myself I can tell you that it probably isn't a bot. And, really is c & p or pretending to be a know-it-all violating any of the rules here?

If not, then it would be unfair for an Admin to do something to the person. ....At the very least they can check to IP address and see what's what.

One thing I notice here, is that the Admins seem to be fair, but the members want the Admins to act on people they don't like.

I have that happen @ my forum too, but I make it clear up front that Admin will not participate in any sort of e-gang up.

I'm curious to see how Michele & Gretchen handle this.

A reasonable suspicion, but this time, not the case.

Sorry about the incidents, I was not on the boards while all that was going on.
