Do you think maybe his sentence was lessened because "honor killing" is accepted in his country?

I believe that when you come to a country you abide by their laws. This whole thing really sickens me.

i believe "when in rome ..." if he wants to escape U.S. punishment, he should have flown the two of them back to their homeland and hacked off her head there.

like i said in a previous post, you bring the part of your culture that enriches our country. but the rest you need to check at the door.

A guy beheaded a fellow passenger on a Greyhound bus last summer. He had a hunting knife. In lieu of a machete, I think multiple stabbings would do the trick.

Such a horrible horrible story.

I remember that story! The guy was definitely mentally disturbed. If I'm not mistaken, the guy was dead before he beheaded him.
